Quality Inn

This hotel is very old. The rooms need an extreme makeover. The surfaces in the bathtub are peeling and there was mold around the frame of the bathroom mirror. There are three stories and there is no elevator. They stated remodeling has begun on the third floor but guests should not be put in the unremodeled rooms. Very unsafe.

A bad hotel. When we arrived there were four people gathered around the desk and none of them stopped their conversations or acknowledged us until I let them know we needed to check in. The entire place is not welcoming and the hotel was covered in cheap decorations. One of the employees wasn't wearing shoes in the lobby. The room itself was okay, but many windows were missing screens or broken. Our bathroom was gross and dingy. The breakfast was obviously not real food, the eggs looked like something that would be in a kid's play kitchen. The fruit looked like it was rotting and the sausage patties were sitting in a vat of grease. The coffee didn't even taste or look like coffee and the juice was watery and barely tasted of anything. Did not feel safe there or welcomed.

From my first encounter with the high conflict front desk attendant to entering my room- which was their 2nd attempt to find one with working lights and it’s on the 3rd floor and no elevator - I would not recommend staying at this hotel. If it’s the last room in town, drive on by. I always try hard to see the positive in an experience, and at least the beds and pillows are comfy.

So if there possible for a zero star I would, not for the staff for the appearance and up keep to this hotel. The pictures you see on Google and all the travel sites don't even come close to the reality of this hotel. They don't do any house keeping, there is the worst ever smell from the hallways, the carpets in hallways have stains on them, the front desk area is so cluttered with furniture it is not a warm feeling to this hotel when you walk in. There so called breakfast is supposed to from 6 till 9 but when you go down there at 7 or 8 there is nothing left and when you ask they say we are not cooking anymore. They don't clean the rooms, the rooms have bad stains on the carpet, the bedding has not been replaced for years They say the wash them but I physically saw there laundry room and the dryers are missing tops and the washers look like they are 20 years old, plus the comforters have holes in them and the front desk people said the owners just want them to hand sew the holes up. Under the beds have never been cleaned, the bathrooms was disgusting I has to go buy my own cleaning stuff to clean the bathroom so I could use it. The windows was disgusting and never cleaned, the heating unit has not been serviced either . I would ask to see the room before you pay anything and take a smell.. I personally think the owners of this hotel don't care about the quality and concern of the people staying here..

Kudos to the photographer. He/She made this old and decrepit property look okay. It was not! It is in a lock-your-car-and-use-a-boot neighborhood. The exterior was reminiscent of a ghost town. We asked to check the room because we had used the national reservation desk to schedule our stay. Those guys know only how to place an order and collect money. The carpeting was stained and tattered. The room smelled musty. A dark/soiled grout in the bathtub was gross. We explained that the room is sickening and that we wanted a refund. They eventually did credit our account. Ugh! Choice Hotels can do better.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The carpet in the room was filthy and threadbare, bathroom grimy, sheets stained with questionable cleanliness, safe was broken, screen was torn, sheer drapes were shredded, safety door did not function properly. All this for 200.00. The manager of this place needs to do something, stop ripping people off who come to shows at the Gorge. Do Not stay here, ever.
