We were very disappointed in our arrival at the hotel on Oct. 27, 2022. We were told from front desk that some rooms had not been cleaned yet (this was around 6pm or so), and got a very eye-opening account of the management & the head of staff. It was relayed to us that the hotel was down to 1 working washer, and the head of staff refused to take laundry to a laundromat for washing. Apparently the dryers all worked. There was a sign on the front lobby door saying “if no one at front desk, they are doing laundry and will be back momentarily”. We were told at the desk that management knew about the washers for several days and had not as yet gotten a repair man. We were also told that some rooms were missing shower curtains. So we were given our key, went to our room, and saw that it was indeed not cleaned at all. We carried our stuff back down & my husband went to the desk to let them know. So we were given another room, and upon trying to open the door, the keys would not work. So hubby went back down to the desk, and the keys were re-programmed. Finally, into our room & it was clean & every amenity was accounted for. This was a long, drawn out registration into the hotel that could have been averted if management had taken the initiative, thought of their guests, and had the equipment in working order. AND if head of staff would have gotten her head out of her butt & thought of people checking in & helped out! We have been to this hotel twice before & everything has been great. But after this time we are seriously considering never going back. We understood that there were homecoming games the next night (we only stayed 1 night), and were told the hotel would be charging close to $300 for a room! I guess, let the buyer beware, is all I can hope for those poor guests.
