Travelodge Morecambe

I went with my 6 year old grandson everyone was friendly and helpful I will be booking again.

Only short stay - overnight for attending our friends’ wedding in Carnforth. Good location which is only 5 mins walk to the beach! Lucky, markets were on the promenade! Easy to access around the town. Easy to park the car. The room was clean and comfortable. Fan provided! Importantly, the tv has subtitles which is good for Deaf people. Travelodge has provided us fire alarm systems! If return to Morecambe, I would stay s as Travelodge.

We're regular returners. Disappointed at sea view hotels in Morecambe, we have frequently resorted to the Travelodge which has no sea view or hot breakfast offer but is 10 minutes from the sea and 5 minutes from Wetherspoons. The rooms and bathrooms are well equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable with good beds and shower facilities. Nearby metered parking in local municipal Library car park. Unless you can afford the art deco Midland, this is the most convenient place to stay in Morecambe. Travelodge have certainly upped their game recently and now compare favourably with Premier Inns who don't have one in Morecambe.

We’ve stayed at Travelodge Morecambe before—the accessible rooms are spacious, with a brilliant wet room and very comfortable beds. The hotel has recently been decorated in the new Travelodge colours, so it looks very smart and tidy. Although the room wasn’t quite ready at the 3pm check-in time, the two reception staff were very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. There’s no restaurant on-site, but there are plenty of cafes, pubs and lots of takeaways just a short walk away on the main shopping street. The location is just a couple of minutes’ walk from the seafront—you can stroll and enjoy the view of the mountains in the distance or take a walk along the stone jetty. Overall, a great experience, and we’ll definitely stay again.

We stayed at this Travelodge from April 7th to April 9th, this is a great little Lodge and we always have a nice stay, Makayla was our host and she and the staff were excellent throughout our stay and we will be back soon, our room was an Accessible room with walk in wet room the room was clean and tidy and has been revamped with USB slots either side of the bed and all in all it was a nice room. The downside for us was the so called Single beds were very uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on an ironing board, overall we did enjoy our stay.

Decent, basic budget hotel in good location. Only annoyance is that wifi is restricted to just 30 minutes so you have to pay for more. Travelodge should really scrap charges.
