Finca Serena Mallorca, Small Luxury Hotels

The views are stunning, the vibe super peaceful, and the service couldn’t have been better, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was full of fresh, high-quality products (very tasty) and dinner at Jacaranda blew us away. The sweet potatoes were amazing, but the meat… hands down the best I’ve had in my life! It's a perfect escape to be relax and enjoy around nature, beautiful place in Mallorca!

If you have the opportunity to go to Finca Serena, you should. Absolute gem. Excellent stay, atmosphere. Top quality. The staff was incredible and welcoming. We also had some of the best food we’ve ever had in the restaurant. Best place we’ve been in a long time.

This place is a scam, there’s no way around it. pros: Comfortable beds and soft sheets cons: - NOISE: constant “easy listening” music played throughout the property, poolside, spa, etc. eliminating any hope for a natural soundscape. - STAFF: front desk staff have an attitude, even at check-in, and in some cases were downright rude - SEWAGE LEAK: I had to relocate rooms half-way through my stay due to a smelly sewage leak (see Rachel L July 2025, 1-star review) no grace or compensation offered for this inconvenience - PESTICIDES: on Wednesday night at 9PM, when most guests were at dinner, something was sprayed on the trees at sunset. Given that this is supposed to be an “ecolodge,” I was particularly surprised. A notice went out saying to avoid walking in the “olive trees in the area surrounding the spa” due to “treatments” and the risk of “allergies,” the notice did not mention that they would also be spraying the trees outside our windows and over the primary breakfast / lunch dining area, without covering the furniture, where we sit and eat. (See photo and screenshot from video). - DINING restaurant is way below average, very expensive (prefixed scammy menu’s), and the only one for miles. - PRIVACY: the “Classic Garden” room, which looks like a stand alone Casita on the website, is actually a BARRACKS style-room, where the patio shares fences with neighboring patios, offering very little privacy and lot’s of noise. Also the furniture on the patio gives splinters. I don’t own a hotel in Mallorca, I have no skin in this game—I travel a lot. I’m willing to pay for good experiences, this was not one of them. I gave Finca Serena the opportunity to comp me one night’s stay for all the inconveniences, they refused. If you’re looking to have a good time in Mallorca, avoid this place.

We expected luxury. What we got was sewage and two hours in a lobby. Finca Serena was supposed to be the grand finale of our Mallorca trip. Instead, we were greeted by a horrible sewage smell as we walked to our room, which only got worse the closer we got. The stench even followed us inside. We asked for help immediately. While the front desk staff were lovely (thank you Paula and Maria), we spent over two hours being offered rooms that didn’t match what we booked, being told no manager was available, and watching the hotel list more rooms on ******* that they told us were “sold out.” This is a five-star property with five-star pricing — but the service and response fell far short. No management came to speak with us. Finca Serena may look beautiful, but this experience left a very sour taste at the end of an otherwise perfect vacation. Major letdown.

Beautiful hotel and the staff is really kind and accommodating. So nice and clean as well. Love it here. Would love to come back. Literally all the staff was 10/10 in helpfulness and kindness. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the landscape is amazing,

If you want to get away and literally relax than this is the place. However, there is nothing to do on property in the evenings so be aware. I would suggest staying in Palma and take the 30 m taxi ride to the country for an activity. The staff is young and inexperienced and not aware of the offerings on the hotels actual website, A/C was needed to be turned on every evening, shower temperature handle needed to be fixed during our stay along, among other things that don't represent a 5 star hotel. When you need to tell the staff about what's own their own website does not make for a good start. Pick somewhere else!
