Aux Temps d'Em

Very disappointed the hotel was lovely , but I had booked breakfast at the bar on checking in at the bar on arrival where we were told breakfast would be 12 euros , to include ham eggs bread croissants and drinks and would be served from 7.30 am . Until 10.00am We went down the next morning at 9.45am where the lady asked us what we wanted to drink and to help ourselves to the buffet breakfast . There was enough bread for one slice each and some croissants,ham and cheese sliced also eggs with a hot plate which you had to cook the eggs yourselves . My wife had one slice of bread a croissant and a drink my daughter and myself had a bit of each but not eggs . My daughter was treating us to breakfast and went to pay and it came to 17 euros each . We checked on the website where it should have been 12 euros as told by a member of the staff . I emailed the hotel direct to be told the breakfast was 12 euros but if you had the ham and eggs and cheese it was 17 euros which my wife hadn't had anyway . I feel we had been completely ripped off and this was definitely not value for money . The hotel has done nothing to compensate us for being over charged and ignored my last email

Not too get too poetic, but when you're sitting outside Aux Temps d'Em eating a delicious bowl of moules and frites with the sun setting on this lovely town's square, then life seems pretty good. We stay here regularly. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfy. Our hostess very welcoming and friendly. A great place to break a journey.

Stayed for 1 night in a room over looking the square. Room nice and quiet and well fitted out although bathroom was tight on space. Service good throughout - reception and check out. Parking depends on time of day - spaces on square turn over quickly. Be aware that some spaces in the square have to be vacated by 6am On market day (Saturday)

Stayed overnight on our way home to England. A fabulously welcoming Hotel. We had an excellent meal (Steak). The bar is well stocked and is reasonably priced. The hotel is in a fantastic location, on the market place, looking out at a statue of Field Marshall Haig. The town itself is lovely and well worth a visit. I would recommend a stay.

Le repas était excellent pour la découverte du chti welsh! Un grand merci au serveur pour l'accueil, notamment au jeune homme qui nous a servit, très aimable ! Une bonne expérience qui sera renouvelé. Encore merci à vous pour ce bon moment et à bientôt ! ☺️

Accueil très chaleureux, j'y prends mon petit déjeuner chaque matin. Bel hôtel et je profite surtout de la chouette terrasse, au cœur de la ville,. Surtout les viennoiseries sont fraîches et faites maison, pour moi de loin les meilleures de Montreuil, bien levées feuilletées et croustillantes.
