Molino la Nava

It is nicely restored traditional Spanish house with a great charm. It is situated about 15 minutes drive from Montoro on the narrow, winding road. We booked a double room for one night. It was large and nicely furnished. There was a sofa and a small TV. The light in the room wasn't the best, since there were only lamps and the small windows in the doors. The bed was comfy. A good size bathroom. Everything was clean. Our room was on the second floor, and we had a beautiful view from the balcony. First floor had plenty outdoor and indoor sitting areas. Parking was inside the property. Very good breakfast with great selection. It would be helpful if there is the kettle in the room or in the common area. We had to look for somebody to make tea for us. The receptionist and the staff didn't speak any English, but they were friendly.

The hotel is in a lovely setting but leaves a lot to be desired. I had an upstairs room and, although the young man at reception accompanied me to my room, he let me carry my suitcase. Being in my 70’s, this was surprising and I guessed that this was due to a lack of training. The room was dark with nowhere to sit in comfort. Food was OK and the guy serving in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was friendly and efficient.

Molino la Nava is a magical place, run to perfection. We spent a long weekend, friends and family having taken up the whole place. I have rarely enjoyed to such an extreme, every moment of the day and night. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The service excellent, this without mention of the food. Spanish excellent menu, extensive, whether fish, seafood, meats or veggies, all amazingly good quality. Mustn't miss out the eggs at breakfast, delicious, and the extra virgin olive oil to die for! Will return for sure. The salt water pool, the walks in the olive groves nearby, our dogs totally at home, sad upon their return to Madrid and urban life! A dream place indeed!!!!

We were breaking our journey between Jerez & Valencia & spent one night at Molino La Nava. The property is quaint & rural, a former olive farm located just outside of Montoro. Our suite was spacious & simply decorated, with lovely views across countryside from a large window & outdoor terrace. Large comfy bed, excellent shower & generous array of toiletries. Our teenage son’s standard room was a good size & nicely done out but windowless. Communal areas are rustic but charming & the restaurant rather novel, with tables dotted around the old olive press & vats. The setting & grounds are pleasant & there’s an outdoor pool with loungers. WiFi was also pretty good. It’s a no frills affair but the staff were friendly & helpful. Little English is spoken but we managed to communicate & the dinner menu is offered in English. Breakfast was a decent offer of bread, meats, fruit, cereal etc, plus the offer of cooked eggs. I’ve dropped a star because the food at dinner wasn’t much cop. Our stay was in February so I suspect we didn’t see the hotel at its best, & perhaps when it’s busier they recruit a proper cook & food improves. The wine was perfectly nice & service charming….. & bearing in mind the reasonable room rates we were inclined to forgive the sub par grub & appreciate the positive aspects of the place, & the owners best efforts to make an 8 roomed property work in the quieter winter months.

Nuestra estancia en este hotel fue una experiencia maravillosa para toda la familia. Rodeado de olivares interminables, el lugar tiene un encanto especial que invita a relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y tienen un toque acogedor que nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. El personal es increíblemente amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos con una sonrisa. Se nota que el hotel está pensado o solo para familias, con espacios seguros y bien adaptados para los más pequeños, también para parejas, cosa que probaremos en nuestra próxima escapada. Sin duda, un lugar ideal para desconectar y compartir momentos inolvidables en un ambiente cálido y familiar. ¡Esperamos volver pronto!

Espléndido lugar en un entorno precioso. Nos ha encantado este alojamiento rural, muy bonito, acogedor y muy limpio. El trato excelente, el personal muy amable y atento, no ha faltado detalle, especial atención a Jesús y Omar, unos chicos muy simpáticos y atentos. Hemos cenado y desayunado muy bien. Nuestra estancia ha sido corta y nos hemos quedado con ganas de más. Lo recomendamos sin duda alguna, ojalá podamos volver.
