Cottage Puerto Buceo

Small but very nice and clean. The service is the best without a doubt.

Very helpful front desk, nice lounge area for watching a futbol game or just reading, bar area, excellent breakfast, and somewhat small room but great bed and bathroom. You can walk in 10 minutes to a beach and walk the Ramba, or use a nice indoor pool. It is located 15-20 min from the old town but in return you can just park your car in front of the hotel, restaurants are convenient, and it is the best location for going to the airport of Puerto del Este.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff at Cottage Puerto Buceo. The room didn’t have much of a view, but was quiet, cozy, modern, and clean. The pillow menu is a nice touch, and the bed is quite comfortable. The pool and hot tub look great, and the gym - though small - is a useful feature. Breakfast was worth the extra charge. The neighborhood is safe and thoroughly walkable, with appealing green spaces, beach, stores, restaurants, and bars nearby. We’d definitely stay here again.

Cottage Puerto Buceo is very nice Hotel and an excelente choice when in Montevideo. It is very well located and the place is modern and full of charm !! All the staff is very gentle ( special thanks for Federico and Nicola from Reception) and helpful ! The breakfast is delicious and we also have tried the restaurant, very good !!! We do recommend Cottage Puerto Buceo !!!

Stylish, friendly, welcoming, well-located, and so relaxing. I can’t say enough good things about the beautiful Cottage Puerto Buceo in Montevideo, where I recently stayed in a garden room for four nights. What an oasis! It is run by a group of kind individuals. The bar, restaurant, and complimentary breakfasts are delicious, and the heated indoor pool is spectacular. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel in Pocitos.

A small hotel with a big heart. The staff are lovely and generous. A special shout out to Federico who shared one of his own books on Montevideo with me and Sebastian with the sweet disposition (both at reception). Loved the mid century modern flourishes throughout the property. Also thanks to the restaurant staff who went to great lengths to accommodate my meal requests and always cooked up lovely, stylish, and flavorful dishes. I felt so coddled and look after by the hotel and its personal touch. For the price, it's an awesome find. Hotel staff were so helpful in assisting me to plan my days and provide advice on getting around the city. In terms of areas for improvement, the rooms are a bit small (nothing you can really do about this one) but make up for it with style and comfort. The housekeeping was a bit uneven and I was never quite sure what would be cleaned that day. I've noticed this as a problem at many hotels during and immediately after the pandemica and I suspect is due to staffing challenges leftover from the pandemic. Therefore I imagine it's an issue that will sort itself out as the pandemic recedes into the rearview. This was nothing alarming, BTW, but a slight area for improvement. Also, there was one receptionist who needs to do a slightly better job hiding his annoyance at dealing with non-Spanish speakers. Would definitely recommend this place.

No puedo decir suficientes cosas buenas sobre la hermosa Cabaña Puerto Buceo en Montevideo, donde recientemente me alojé en una habitación con jardín durante cuatro noches. ¡Qué oasis! Está dirigido por un grupo de personas amables. El bar, el restaurante y los desayunos de cortesía son deliciosos y la piscina cubierta climatizada es espectacular. Recomiendo encarecidamente este maravilloso hotel en Pocitos.

Accommodations were set up your Travel provider. We were moved here when our original hotel didn’t meet expectations in quality . Walking distance to beach, mall and restaurants. Great interior design.

We stayed 1 night at the Cottage Puerto Buceo in Montevideo and had an excellent experience. In particular, the reception staff person, Federico, was exceptionally attentive and kind. We left from the hotel late in the evening to travel back home. The travel included multiple flights and more than 24 hours of travel. Federico provided us water, towels to clean-up before our flight, a place to charge our phones, all of which was long after we checked out that morning. His attention and kindness to our comfort made our trip easier.
