Yellow Praia Monte Gordo

2nd time in Monte Gordo, first time in this hotel. Saw the review: a few bad and a few good. My first day I arrived early around 11.30 but the room was ready, so no problem. People wrote about the terrible food. I had no problem. Food was warm. Breakfast was good. No tea but water or juice is there also. So no problem. Do know the place so my mindset was if it is not good I eat outside. But after two days I still have a great time here. Room is really big, seaside view. Asked that during booking and got it. I asked for the busstop to go to Ayamonte and in a second I got an explanation where the busstop is, the timetable, the timetable for the ferry. I really do not know why people were so negative. Oke it is not a 4 star hotel but a 3 it is and that will do just fine. And for the people who said you need to pay 7,50 hours per day for tourist tax that is not correct. 1 euro a night per person. Only thing when you are a vegetarian I think night and breakfast will be beter. There is for dinner not that many choose. The wifi is oke something slowly but hey we don't need to be on the wifi the whole day. People who were mad about this stayed in their room whole day. But an 8 for me. Day 3 and still enjoying my stay here.

The best: the food. That came as a surprise - full board was very convenient for us. Meals were simple, tasty and with enough diversity throughout our stay. Second best: proximity to the beach. Spacious and a very quiet sea. We got lucky and even got the opportunity to get some waves!!!! ☺️ At least for a six year old - some huge and radical waves!!! The hotel has been around for a couple of years and a renovation might be something to consider (design refresh and update, beds and mattresses, increase parking options,…). It was crowded in August and the lifts were always busy. An update on the current system might improve the overall efficiency of the lifts. However, the staff was extremely welcome and warm. Always ready to solve any issue that came along!

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. The positives: 1. The staff were all friendly 2. It’s close to the beach and there are a lot of bars in a short walk 3. The room was very clean. The negatives 1. They have no tea coffee facilities in the rooms 2. They have neither irons or a laundry service 3. The food wasn’t great, typical 3 star hotel buffet food. One morning at breakfast all the cooked food was cold. Even the pan of bacon that they had brought out 30 seconds before. If you want somewhere as a base for a holiday it is OK. Would I stay there again? No

Estive no hotel Yellow em agosto e no dia anterior à minha saída fiz uma exposição ao Diretor e até hoje não obtive qualquer resposta. Essa atitude demonstra a frieza, a distância, o tratamento impessoal para com os clientes. Manifestei o meu desagrado relativamente ao funcionamento do hotel. Compreendo que a lotação justifica muita coisa, mas não justifica tudo. Justifica as filas para o pequeno almoço, as filas para os elevadores, etc. No entanto, por exemplo, não justifica a falta de higiene nos quartos. Poderia também referir a política economicista, por exemplo na falta de produtos de higiene no wc. ou na pobreza e falta de qualidade na fruta apresentada no pequeno almoço. Outra situação que me afetou e me condicionou completamente as férias foi o estacionamento. Cheguei sábado dia 30 de julho e deparei com a grande problemática do estacionamento automóvel. Perguntei na receção e disseram-me que o parque estava cheio. No domingo de manhã voltei a solicitar, á tarde fiquei registado num bloco de apontamentos numa lista de espera. Um colaborador do hotel, tomou nota do meu número de telemóvel e disse-me que talvez á tarde já tivesse lugar, porque muitos clientes iam sair. Voltei e voltei a questionar e nada. Entre voltas e mais voltas, pagamentos, multas, sistema nervoso alterado, lá passei muito do meu tempo, para estacionar o automóvel. Para finalizar, outra situação que me parece completamente anómala. Quando fiz a reserva em junho, paguei 30% do total acordado. Recebi a respetiva fatura sem NIF. No mesmo dia solicitei que retificassem a fatura. Como não fizeram, voltei a fazer o pedido por duas vezes. Sem qualquer resposta. Esta impessoalidade não é digna de um hotel.

Estivemos hospedados neste magnífico Hotel de 30/12/2022 a 01/01/2023. A Festa de Réveillon foi TOP. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e profissionais. Aconselho este magnífico Hotel, que dispõe de uma boa piscina interior. Para terminar quero deixar uma palavra de apreço ao Sr.Diretor do Hotel, grande profissional, sempre preocupado com o bem estar dos clientes, bem haja. Bom Ano para todo o Staff do Hotel. Irei voltar novamente. O meu obrigado Francisco Silva.

Wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad in het hotel .hotelkamers hebben gedateerde meubels en de vloeren zijn niet heel schoon in de kamer Vooral onder de bedden en kastjes . De badkamer was ruim en netjes. De receptie zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam het eten in de ochtend super en uitgebreid , een prachtig binnen zwembad en een buiten bad met ligstoelen . Hotel is rustig dat wel maar in monte gordo is genoeg te doen veel restaurants en betaalbaar . Balkon met prachtig uitzicht over de zee 🍹😎 Strand is op loopafstand . Via zij ingang voor rolstoelen ,zware koffers of buggy,s enz. Voorzijde zijn trappen. Wij gaan zeker terug .
