We stayed in this hotel with family and friends last weekend, hoping to have a calm and relax weekend, but instead we encountered so many problems, but I cannot help to warn other guests that could be thinking in staying there. Here are some of the problems we had: First, our room was full of ants, until the point we couldn't stay there, and had to change room. Second, to our surprise, the heavily advertised "breakfast included" was 8 minutes walking distance from the hotel, as it was in a different location. But the most disturbing thing of all was to wake up in the middle of the night, without water in the whole hotel. We had to leave to Santo Domingo early in the morning, and had to go without taking a shower, as not one was there to help.

Surprised by this hotel in Montecristi. A very nice and cozy boutique hotel. The fridge is full of drinks. Cozy social areas outdoors. We booked 3 rooms one hour before our arrival and the check in process was perfect. Only thing is that they dont accept credit card.

We ve been traveling s few days north the Dominican Republic and we have visited the beautiful little town of Monte Cristi Hotel Santa Clara is very modern with nice open space and terraces, very clean and the bedroom was really nice We only suggest to improve a little more breakfast! Maybe not using plastic glasses and serving some fruits which is so good here and fresh juice All the rest was very good and a good deal price, location and service

I travel alot and review very little. This spot deserves Praise! The owners have created a boutique hotel where they’ve really gone all out to make sure you feel right at home. The decorations, amenities, comfortable beds, clean air conditioned rooms leave nothing to be desired. If you’re looking for a comfortable, pleasant place to stay, look no further. Hotel Santa Clara in Montecristi is one place you should not miss.

El lugar es bonito para su entorno y ciudad, pero deben tener cuenta con el baño de la habitación 107, es un baño sin ninguna división, aún las parejas deben tener alguna privacidad en el baño. En la nevera de la habitación te ponen mucha variedad pero demasiado costosa para el lugar.

El lugar a groso modo luce bonito y acogedor, sin embargo, al parecer por sus locaciones próximas y/o por falta de higiene abundan insectos sobre todo en las habitaciones (especialmente las ubicadas en la parte de atrás) como hormigas, cucharachas y (en especial lo que marcó mi estancia) UN CIENPIES GIGANTE durmiendo conmigo, mi bebé y mi esposo en la cama. El servicio es impecable y nos cambiaron de una vez de habitación, sin embargo persistieron la aparición de cucarachas, tanto enormes como bebés, desde el lobby, hasta las habitaciones y otras áreas comunes. Espero tomen conducta y logren mejorar las instalaciones, ya que es un lugar con un alto potencial

La estadía en el hotel fue muy buena, excelente higiene, el desayuno exquisito y muy buenas atenciones tanto presencial como de manera virtual pues le escribí por Instagram y obtuve respuesta de inmediato, lo recomiendo 100%, cuando vuelva a Montecristi será mi destino de descanso.
