A beautiful peaceful cottage in a lush garden. It is also close to restaurants although the walk up is good exercise. The goodies, bread, butter and olives were delicious and thoughtful. Colin is very helpful and hands on.

Abigail’s Garden cottage was a wonderful experience. We came to Montagu Springs this time with our two small dogs and because Avalon Springs hotel has no dog policy, we decided to stop at this cute pet friendly cottage. The host was the most welcoming and kind person. He accommodated us very well. Bed was very comfortable and clean even with under mattress heated blanket for the cold night. The smell of fireplace and coziness gave it overall a wonderful experience. We had a very nice welcome package with beverages and food. In the garden you can find the most amazing plants and flowers. You can safely lock your car in the cover parking and people around were so friendly. We had a barbecue into the night and overall it was a great experience! Just in case if you want to come with hunting dogs, I would not recommend to take them with because in the garden there are free running cutest turtles. For children, non-hunting dogs and cats that would be a pleasure to get an acquaintance with them.

Abigail's was clean and also very conveniently situated, close to all restaurants. Pet friendly made this a really good spot for us. Nice quiet area of Montagu. Close to wine farms for good wine tasting.

What a wonderful stay !!!!! Thank you to the hosts, Collin and Jen, for their hospitality that is so part of the cottage-details and welcome 'goodies'. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with all you need. It really is a 'home-away-from-home' experience. Well done.

We had a great stay at Abigail's, lovely decor, very clean, comfortable bed and very spacious. We were welcomed with fruit, ciabata bread and cheese and a welcome basket with rusks and cookies. There was fresh milk in the fridge which I always appreciate. Great stay with good value for money.

We took a chance and just knocked on the door. Lickily the cottage was available for an overnight stop. Spotlessly clean and comprehensively equiped, we couldn’t have chosen better. Nice restaurants very close by. A definite place to recommend to others. Just make Colin’s life easier and pre-book🙂

The facilities was very nice and cosy. Host was super friendly. Fireplace in the bedroom was a bonus. The small touches like fresh fruit,bread and treats that was provided was very kind and thoughtful. Disliked · Nothing

A great cottage for weekend away climbing. Good facilities in a quiet part of Montagu. Off streeting parking was nice to have. Lots of nice aditions like fresh milk, coffee and tea, a fruit bowl and some baked goods.

A wonderful place with all that is required as a home away from home. All the attractions are close by. A great country retreat to relax in a quiet and peaceful area. The host was more than accommodating and helpful.
