The location is perfect, the beds super comfy, the view on the terrace was spectacular! But that’s about all I have to say regarding the accommodation, it’s lovely but if you are wanting hospitality attentiveness you won’t receive. We had a broken door handle which took 2 days to fix. No hot water on our last day. The owner is too focused on encouraging 5euro per guest/business out in the laneway to use his rooftop than focus on his inhouse guests. Anyone can come in and use the terrace. The noise of guests arriving and using the spiral staircase was just outside our room. It was painfully annoying, forget an afternoon siesta. The music the owner has playing on repeat out the front lane to attract patrons was blaring until 11pm each night. BRING EAR PLUGS Whilst breakfast was included, we would have eaten here, lunch, dinners if we were given a menu when we were on the rooftop terrace. Yesterday guests were on the pool lounge with their belongings all over it while using 2 chairs beside their lounge, oh and then their food arrived and they took up a table for 2 not even staying at the accommodation. Breakfast is not served until 8:30am. If you are an early riser, get snacks! My suggestion would be to be prioritise and be attentive to your in house guests, they may spend more and then you may not need outside business!

DO NOT STAY HERE – AVOID THIS PROPERTY AND DO NOT TRUST ROBERTO PERRICCI WITH YOUR BOOKING OR YOUR MONEY I strongly urge anyone considering this accommodation to look elsewhere. My experience dealing with Roberto Perricci was frustrating, disappointing, and ultimately is a scam. I booked a 3-night stay nearly a year in advance and paid a 50% deposit without issue—Roberto was very responsive when it came to collecting money. However, when I needed to cancel four months before the booking, everything changed. I was told a refund would be processed, and I provided my international banking details as requested. What followed was months of excuses, delays, and broken promises. Despite repeated follow-ups, Roberto kept stalling: “next week,” “soon,” “just a bit longer.” But the refund never came. His communication became evasive and dismissive. It was clear he had no intention of honoring the agreement. This wasn’t just poor service—it was dishonest and unprofessional behavior. To be blunt: I believe I was scammed. Roberto Perricci took my money and never returned it, despite a clear agreement and ample notice. Spare yourself the stress, the loss, and the disrespect. Avoid this property and do not trust Roberto Perricci with your booking or your money.

Have just spent 5 nights at B&B Bellavista in Monopoli. The view from the terrace and room were wonderful. Outside of that, it was a woeful experience and the manager and the restaurant manager have no concept in hospitality. After spending 9 weeks in central Europe, this was easily the worst experience received solely due to the service, or should I say lack of service. Stay elsewhere, read the reviews and do your homework. They really are more concerned about a quick buck from people off the street than their own guests, the managers are rude, their is little privacy. For me and experience is so dependant on the staff and how they I teract, how they provide hospitality. We ended up having a lovely experience in neighbouring towns, local restaurants, we met some lovely locals. Our time and money was spent outside of this place. For the little we bought, which was 4 beers and 1 cocktail, they still managed to stuff this up due to woeful processes. They ended charging other drinks to us which were not consumed. They rectified this but it should not be this way. Much better ways to part with hard earned cash than to give it to these people.
