Big Game - Yala By Eco Team

一次很神奇的旅行體驗，我們去到露營地是晚上九點了，吉普車顛簸的那十幾分鍾感覺差點要被賣了，到了之後發現了新大陸，加上我們沒有吃飯，BBQ的味道雖然一般 但是吃飯的時候低頭有很多小動物陪伴，抬頭是滿眼星空，很有氛圍感

Manager Nalin and his team left no stone unturned to make our stay a comfortable and memorable one .It’s the fasting season and all arrangements made to make fast in the early hours of the morning with Micheal at 4am in the morning. 4 beds tent.

Wow, what an incredible experience. We booked a private safari with our stay at Big Game Yala and the entire experience was excellent from the moment we arrived. The check in was in a military style tent, and we received a friendly welcome. Our tent was neat and I couldn't believe contained its own private toilet and a shower with hot water!! We got a driver and guide in the safari for just the 2 of us, and they were fabulous at pointing out animals. The same guide took us for a nightime walk, as well as a morning walk to see more of the local wildlife which was included in the cost. On the safari we saw a leopard, several elephants, mongoose, deer, monkeys, exotic birds, hares, crocodiles, and more. Dinner was served as if it was a five star restaurant but in the open under the stars, and each table had its own candle to see by. It was a 3 course meal which was delicious! And in the trees around us were fireflies. It was so cool. They also provided teas and coffees and breakfast. The staff were so nice and made sure we were comfortable. I'd highly recommend Big Game Yala! It was our favourite experience during our Sri Lanka trip.

Extremely happy with the stay here. This is an authentic jungle camp experience following eco-tourism guidelines. The tented rooms are simple but very comfortable and all meals served were delicious. The best part of this camp are the staff - everyone is so attentive (asking about food preferences) and hospitable. The safaris organized (with guides) were very good. All in all, go for this experience - you will not regret it. Some things to take note of: the camp is situated 15-20 min from the National Park gate so it's a bit interior. The WiFi connection is less if you're someone who needs it badly but phone signal is fine. If travelling as a family of 4 adults, recommend taking 2 separate tents versus a family tent. A family tent for 2 adults and 2 children is fine.

Came here with friends. Tents were comfortable, wifi worked well and things were run very smoothly with set times for meals, tea etc.. Reception was staffed all the time and able to answer all of our questions. The safari arranged was excellent - the naturalist in our car was very good at identifying and pointing out all manner of wildlife that we came across including the small birds. They were very good at spotting animals that I never would have picked out from the car otherwise. Meals provided during the safari were ample and good. Only downsides on the trip were that the floor of one tent was a little uneven so difficult to walk around during the night, and the water supply to one tent was slow to refill after flushing the toilet.

The tents are very comfortable with fan and electricity. Basis shower and toilet. The cam is very clean and Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Tea and coffee available all day. Games and balls available to play. Breakfast was freshly prepared with fruit and eggs. The only downside was the evening meal- they provide a bbq of chicken, pork, fish or veg at a fixed price- so you either buy an overpriced meal or don’t eat and take your own snacks. They provide wooden box to store food and a fridge for your drinks and had no objection to you eating and drinking at their tables.
