We enjoyed our stay at Mitsis Galini hotel. The stuff was friendly, the room had a nice view of the sea and the pool and both the dinner and the breakfast were above the expectations. We will definitely come back!

Excellent staff but the amenities need a renovation. Throughout the years amenities such as water jets in outdoor pools have stopped working and have never been fixed.

Απογοήτευση! Τα επίπεδα εξυπηρέτησης εξαιρετικά χαμηλά. Στη ρεσεψιόν λες και έπρεπε να συνδεθεί ένας με ένα σε μηχάνημα για να εξυπηρετήσουν. Η κράτηση ήταν δίκλινο με παιδί και βρίσκουμε διπλό κρεβάτι με δυο στρώματα. Χρειάστηκε να καλέσω 4 φορές στη ρεσεψιόν για να έρθουν και μετά τον μεσημεριανό υπνο. Στην πισινα κυνηγάμε το προσωπικο για παραγγελια και στα σπα μάλλον δεν θέλουν να δουλευουν εκει, αλλιώς δεν εξηγείται η συμπεριφορά τους. Οι καμαριέρες το πιο ευγενικό προσωπικο του ξενοδοχείου θα έλεγα.

Καταπληκτική πισίνα! Οι ιαματικές δεν με τρέλαναν το φαγητό και ο μπουφές πλούσιο και νόστιμο. Οι εγκαταστάσεις （κυρίως το δωμάτιο） για 5 αστέρων δεν ήταν, ωστόσο για την τιμή του ήταν οκ. Το σπά αδιάφορο και η υποδοχή όχι και τόσο ευγενική. Ενα τεράστιο αρνητικό είναι τα άπειρα κουνούπια που υπήρχαν （εντός του δωματίου） που είναι απόλυτα λογικό με βουνό απο τη μια θάλασσα απο την άλλη και 3 πισίνες μπροστά, ωστόσο απο 5 αστέρων ξενοδοχείο θα περίμενα τουλάχιστον ένα αντικουνουπικό στο δωμάτιο!!

This hotel needs some serious upgrading, hotel rooms are basic and functional but old. We arrived at the hotel and the receptionist was quite off, no smile was offered and it took about 20 minutes to check in which was frustrating. When checking out I popped our key card in the large glass bowl on the reception desk with the many others and the receptionist (same one that checked us in) said No - you still need that so you know which room to check out of!! I assured her I could remember the room number I had just left!!! Not very friendly in the slightest and again not a smile in sight, or asking how was our stay. It is very noisy in the corridors as the acoustics are terrible, chairs scraping the floor above you late at night and early morning. Only had breakfast in the hotel which was buffet, the food was cold and felt like I was in a soulless dining room. It served it's purpose for a bed for the night but that is about it. Just felt the hotel really lacked some homely feels and was quite sterile. Lots of restaurants around the hotel you can eat out at. It's basically a large corporate which just isn't our vibe! The scenery is absolutely beautiful with the ocean and mountains.

I cannot review the actual sleeping facilities as I was not staying there but was there for a backgammon event every day. The main issue is that this is an expensive 5 star hotel which should allow to be able accessible for disabled persons. THIS WAS DEFINATELY A NO NO! A friend in a wheelchair could not move around as there were no ramps, many steps and no rails in the bathroom. There were no disability rooms. Also, the bar had NO DRAFT BEER! This hotel has a lot to learn if it thinks it is a five star hotel.

Nice hotel, little bit tired around the edges. The waiting & cleaning staff were excellent, bar service very slow. If you order a drink at the bar they won’t let you take it, they will bring it over to you but it could take up to 30 minutes. The reception isn’t as helpful as they could be, the lady that checked us in at 3 in the morning was lovely but later in the week when we asked if we could book a snack box or book the grill restaurant we were told to do it an line, when I’m on holiday I don’t really want to be bothering with booking things online. The pool is nice but could do with a bit of maintenance, there’s lots of tiles missing & it’s a bit grubby. Food is good but very much the same everyday for lunch & dinner so soon becomes boring. It’s a nice little town to walk around but there’s not much going on, the main clientele when we were there was old Greek ladies. We checked out a day early and drove to Athens & to spend a night there as we found a week to be too long in this quiet hotel. It’s not a patch on the Mitsis blue domes hotel in Kos.

Galini in Greek means serenity and this is what I felt at the hotel, to a significant extent thanks to the amazing spa, staffed with knowledgeable and friendly people. But it is not only the spa, everywhere at the hotel you feel welcome and relaxed. This is a family hotel, but the calming effect is felt by all, grown ups and kids!

Spacious suite, sportlessly clean, friendly staff. Perfect meals with a lot of variety, rich breakfast, lunch anr dinner. Mrs Vassia in spa area smiling lady willing to serve us. A WONDERFUL HOTEL!!!! Facilities ideal for relaxation...

We had an amazing time with twin babies. Everybody was very accommodating and helpful. The food was exceptional. I must admit that the pool was always cold but we had the time of our lives. We were on an all inclusive base and it was indeed all inclusive with amazing coffees and cocktails

We chose this hotel based on its impressive website, hoping for a luxurious and all-inclusive holiday where we wouldn't need to worry about anything. Unfortunately, the reality was far from our expectations. Service and Amenities: Firstly, getting a drink by the pool was a major challenge. With only one waiter serving the entire pool area, we often waited around 45 minutes for her to appear. In the 40-degree heat, getting water should not have been this difficult. When I approached the bar, I was told I could only order from the pool waiter. Snacks were supposedly available until 7 pm, but at 6:45 pm, we were told the service had ended – quite a predicament for our hungry 2-year-old. Predictably, the pool waiter disappeared every day around 6:40 pm, leaving no opportunity for "last orders." Quality of Drinks: The quality of the drinks was certainly not up to 5-star standards. Some cocktails were undrinkable, and the white wine was served at room temperature, of very poor quality. The cocktails were mostly flavoured syrups with diluted alcohol, which seemed designed to discourage consumption. We discussed this with two other families who shared our disappointment. Beach Area: The beach area was another letdown. The few available umbrellas and beds were old and nothing like the photos on the website. Service was extremely limited, with only coffee available. This is highly unusual for an "all-inclusive" beach resort. Teen Summer Camps: The presence of large groups of teenagers participating in summer camps completely destroyed the relaxed, luxurious vibe we were expecting. The hotel seems confused about its identity, trying to cater to both high-volume groups and high-end consumers, and failing to satisfy either. Dining: There is only one restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which can become monotonous over a longer stay. While the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food varied, the quality of ingredients did not necessarily reflect a 5-star standard and beware of teenagers taking all the pizza and food options available, you will have to wait until they all piled their food plates to eat! Other Facilities: The spa and gym were up to standard and provided a good experience as well as the room being of good size and with a lovely sea view. Lifts were out of order at times, but we appreciate this can occur. There sunset is the pool bar is lovely and the mountain view from the pool area is fantastic. As a well-travelled family familiar with 5-star resorts, we were very disappointed with the quality and service at this hotel. We will not be returning, as we expect high-quality offerings and great hospitality on our holidays. The property has so much potential, but management needs to ensure their services meet the standards they advertise and align with their brand's promises.

Lovely hotel in a nice location. Overall I would say it's excellent value and the cheapest all inclusive for a family of five that I've come across for a while - it's only fault being that it calls itself 5 star when it's clearly a 4 star hotel. I was a bit dubious before arrival having read some of the earlier reviews, but as usual there are always those that like to complain! My advice is to take factor 50 sunscreen and a strong mosquito repellent - having said that I only got bitten twice and that was outside in the late evening near the pool, but that's to be expected in this part of the world! Guests are mainly greek or european, we only came across a few other brits which I consider a bonus. Pros: Hotel: Small, but well run, cool and clean. The spa and pool being the main facilities. Staff: By far the stand out thing about this hotel is the staff, they are 5 star standard - lovely, very pleasant and helpful. Food: Good Buffet on offer, never had to queue - very well run and lots of choice. Grill Steak house - do try it, the food is delicious. There are also lots of taverna's and eateries within strolling distance up the road if you fancy a change. Pool: Huge, lovely refreshing temperature and there is always a lifeguard on duty to make sure everyone is safe. Lots of sunbeds around the pool (athough my son did have to get up a bit earlier to reserve ours as there are 5 of us!) there are also sunbeds on the grass areas so there are always options. We had 2 seaview rooms - Very clean, beds comfortable and good air conditioning and daily cleaning service. Mini bar is free and replenished every day. Thermal spa was great and again the staff are lovely, we had some treatments and they were great. Cons: Entertainment: There is one guy who comes out every night to play some music, but apart from him there's nothing, so if you're big into evening entertainment then this may not be for you. No organised games, water polo, aerobics etc., so less to do for teens, mine managed to amuse themselves and bought a cheap ball from a nearby supermarket for 4 euros and it kept them amused for several hours a day and made friends along the way! No music by the pool. Overall, a nice relaxing 10 day break - would recommend if you're on a budget and need good value for money.

We spent a short summer vacation at this hotel with our 10yo daughter, and some friends. Overall experience of the hotel is excellent. Stuff was very polite and kind, I would stress here that there was twice a day room cleaning and it really means a lot on the seaside hotel. Food was great as well and regardless that sometimes restaurant was packed stuff was handling it very well :) Beach is very close - across the street and it is not the most beautiful in Greece however it is well maintained and you will enjoy it for sure. Beach bar is very nice as well. Spa center we visited only once just to see how does it look like and it is impressive. Parking is available on site. And hotel is nicely positioned in Kamena Vourla so it is easy to walk around in the evening if you want. Overall experience was very nice and we will come again for sure.
