Spark by Hilton Moline Quad Cities

They are nice, understanding, caring, attentive staff members with great customer service. It is a great experience for my family everytime we visit this location in moline by the airport. My kids love visiting the staff members when they pass by them in hall or on way out to car it puts a smile on both their faces and makes the experience that much more enjoyable and comfortable for us all.

The first room they gave us had no cold water. When we reported the issue, they came to the room, checked the sink and discovered the water had been turned off at the shut off valve. Once the water was turned on, the room had cold water in the sink, but it could not be turned off. They moved us to a second room, and this room had no water to the toilet. Checking the shut off valve, sure enough it was turned off. Opening the shut off valve, the toilet tank did begin to fill, but of course, it never stopped, the tank filled all night long. The second room also had key troubles. The card key would work for about 30 minutes, then stop working. Four attempts to fix it did not resolve the issue, so we made sure one of us was always in the room to open the door.

Place was quiet and bed was so comfortable and the rooms were cleaned and sanitized. A little disappointment with pool closed but staff informed prior to checkin. Checkin process is easy and quick but a lot of paper work to sign. Little worried about security deposit but received back with in a day. Overall great stay and recommend.

The ice machine has not worked for all of my stays in the last couple of months. The property is in need of TLC. I do not believe they do any breakfast as I have not seen it on one of my stays. The phones in the room usually do not work, but the beds are clean and comfortable.

Over charged us! Still waiting for a refund. Breakfast consisted of 3 pieces of white stale bread, dollar store brand cereal and a waffle maker. That's it. Had to find our own breakfast in town. The room was run down, had a bad dog odor. When we first checked in I had to find the restroom. They had a bar of used soap as the soap dispenser was broken. They ended up charging us $100 before we even got there to check in. Then another $250 for a $184 total stay. I've worked for top resort in and around Ohios lake Erie Island of Put in Bay. I do know that things do happen, but the front desk guy wasn't being upfront when I politely asked for a recipt. He stated that the printer was broken. I asked about the charges and he stated that he issued a refund and it should be there on the next business day...... a week later I'm still waiting. There was used needles in the parking lot! I'm sorry but I can't recommend this place. Stay somewhere else.

I have stayed here several times in different rooms and the rooms always smell clean and fresh, are modern and up to date with nice tv's and furniture, comfortable beds and CLEAN bathrooms with updated fixtures. The area is safe and located near gas stations and quick access to nearby shopping. The breakfast is pretty standard for a budget hotel. Cereal, waffles, juice, coffee etc. Nothing fancy but you're not staying at a luxury hotel. If you need a nice comfortable clean place to stay I recommend this place.
