Cadell on the Murray Motel

We were first here in 2008 and wanted to come back, so finally did. It was just as lovely as the last time. Different spots to sit and read a book outside or have a cuppa and watch the occasional boat sail down the Murray. Lots of ducks wandering around the property too. You can have a fun game of tennis or have a swim (water way too cold this time around). We appreciated the laundry and being able to dry our clothes outside, was a bonus. Everything in the room was fine too. We had a microwave, fridge, cutlery and was able to reheat or cook things as we needed. Loved a front door and a back sliding door, with a screen. On a beautiful day it was great to be able to have the breeze inside. Also, sheer curtains as well as heavy curtains means you can look out without others seeing in. This place has been very well thought out. We were sad to leave as it was just perfect to come back to after a busy day sight-seeing.

Excellent accommodation, great location and very quiet. Stayed for four nights, will definitely book again. Room very clean, and a new very generous bathroom.Free electric barbie only metres from our room. Great views of the Murray and the passing boats.

Amazing quiet location right on the river bank. Rooms spotless on arrival. Beds comfortable and electric blankets appreciated. Disabled facilities in the room were also appreciated. This is our 2nd time at Cadel. We will be back next year.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cadell. The Queen room was an affordable price that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the big shower. The location is perfect, right on the Murray. A short 10 minute drive to the center of town. Cadell is the perfect place to forget about the hustle and bustle of every day life and soak up the beautiful nature and surrounds. I already miss hearing the beautiful Kookaburras, look forward to returning one day.

This accommodation is very well placed on the banks of the Mighty Murray River. It's about 10 minutes' drive out of Moama town centre, but the location makes it well worthwhile. The motel is in very good condition. Our room was spotless and spacious. The rear door opens onto a vast lawn on the banks of the Murray. Plenty of tables are provided for afternoon drinks or use the BBQ and eat outdoors while enjoying the ambience of the trees, birds, river and surrounds. Exceptional place.

My wife stumbled across Cadell On The Murray Motel Moama after searching Echuca for accommodation. What a great find which turned out to be a great place to stay. Modern refurbished large well-appointed room in a beautiful quiet setting on the banks of the Murray River. Well-kept grounds, swimming pool and children's playground. Craig was great to deal with and very friendly and in for a chat. We will definitely stay again as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Full support to a great family run business. A great place to stay.

Great hosts and great location and always deliver for our golf trip. We have stayed at Caddell for the past 8 years and they always deliver. Normally we would use the big room to watch the AFL however not required this time. Fantastic outlook over the Murray River including great BBQ facilities.

Really a gem! Had everything for a couple of relaxed days. Wonderful location on the Murray River (one of very few on River in Echuca/ Moama). Excellent room with facilities including kitchenette & microwave, very comfortable bed, plenty of room; plus outside settings to enjoy view and ambience. Close to meal and shops facilities as well as only short drive into Echuca. Helpful staff; excellent value for money. Our trip was Canberra to Adelaide & return; this place added to the enjoyment of our holiday. We will come again! Recommended highly.

Peaceful location on the banks of the Murray River with easy access to downtown Echuca. Large comfortable studio with kitchenette and a large shower room. Spotlessly clean and excellent value. Wi-fi can be a bit hit and miss, but this didn't bother us. Highly recommended.
