My second time here, in total I have had seventeen wonderful day and nights at this beautiful eco lodge. If you like peace and quiet, sound of birds, living in the midst of mangroves, solid cottages, wonderful food and kind people, well this is where to go.

After a disappointing experience with a previous apartment booking in Moalboal, which forced us to leave after two unpleasant nights, we were incredibly lucky to come across the peaceful Eskapoverde Lodge. From the moment we arrived, Alain and Simon greeted us warmly, making us feel truly at home and welcome. The lodge is perched in a unique and beautiful spot, offering breathtaking views. The cottages are thoughtfully designed—simple yet practical. Although not large, they provide plenty of room to store luggage and create a cozy, comfortable space. The windows are all equipped with mosquito nets, allowing fresh air to flow freely. This natural ventilation means there’s no need for air conditioning. Breakfast is a real highlight, and for those who love bacon, you’re in for a treat—it’s perfectly cooked and highly recommended! A huge thank you to Alain and Simon for such a delightful stay. We’re already looking forward to returning to this tranquil retreat.

This little corner of nature is paradise. Quite, green, peacefull, clean; the team is super kind; the service is perfect. Food is very diversified with amazing vegetarian options. Try the Vegan Puso Eskapo style. Very tasty ! Alain, one of the owners, has been a great help with super advices on the different activities to be done around. We had the chance to sleep there and bungalow was 100% clean, charming and comfortable, even in the middle of the Mangrove. Tons of thanks for this overall experience ! Alex and Loic

セブ島南西部の自然に囲まれた、とても静かで心地よい宿でした。初めてのビーガン料理がとても美味しく、食事の時間が毎回楽しみでした。特にココナッツミルクを使った野菜料理が身体に優しく、旅の疲れを癒してくれました。 マングローブ林の中を歩ける遊歩や、水辺の穏やかな景色も印象的で、観光地とは違う、ゆっくりとした時間が流れていました。 スタッフの皆さんもとても親切で、無理に何かをすすめることもなく、自然体で迎えてくれる雰囲気がありがたかったです。「本当にリラックスできる旅」を求める人にはぜひおすすめしたい場所です。また必ず戻ってきたいと思える、大切な場所になりました。 I had a truly peaceful and memorable stay at Eskapo Verde. Surrounded by nature and tucked away from the busy tourist areas, this place offers a rare sense of calm and simplicity. It was my first time trying vegan cuisine, and I was amazed at how delicious and satisfying the meals were—especially the vegetable dishes cooked in coconut milk. Every meal felt nourishing and thoughtful. I especially loved the walking paths through the mangrove forest and the quiet waterside scenery. Even without joining any water activities, I felt deeply connected to the nature around me. The staff were warm, respectful, and never intrusive—just quietly attentive, which made the experience even more relaxing. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, reset, and reconnect with yourself, I highly recommend Eskapo Verde. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to breathe. I hope to return again someday.

A beautifully located place. Escape from reality:) Breakfast is tasty and varied. The cottages are ideally located. We felt soothed by the greenery and the depths of the sea. The owners are very nice, outgoing and helpful. This place is wonderful.

Perfect place to spend few days around Moalboal. Location is ideal. It’s right between Moalboal and Kawasan falls. Staff is nice and friendly and the owners are always there to help or to give advices to make your holidays better. Food in the restaurant is very good and made with quality products. I recommend the fruits pancakes for the breakfast. Delicious and enormous. Rooms are the best hotel rooms I have found in the Philippines. Everything in the rooms is well made and beautiful. It’s is super clean and so quiet. Facilities. It is a super experience. Just walking around in the property is itself a nice thing to do. The views are everywhere beautiful, the nature itself is amazing with a lot of trees, bushes and birds. The kayak tour in the mangrove is a fantastic experience. Overall. It is, from far, the best hotel around Cebu island.

Serene and stress free, Eskapo verde is a calm oasis.located between bustling Badian and vibrant Moalboal It's very clean and the staff are friendly and courteous. The food is great and the welcome is always good. Thank you so much. See you again soon

Eskapo verde is an oasis of well being and perfect to enjoy life. This place is an incredible little mangroves paradise with incredible people. We enjoyed staying there and spend time with talking with the wonderful owner Alain and Simon. The bedroom is well equipped with all what you can need for a perfect holy days. They offer kayaking trips into the mangroves for a fair price and the restaurant is as well excellent with real food like rarely seen even in Europe. If you are searching for a relaxing time, beautiful view, good food and nice people, eskapo Verde is a MUST do for your trip in Philippines! Well located at badian Bay it will take you only 15min to go doing the touristic stuff in moalboal but will still permit you to enjoy an agreeable and calm stay "far" from the agitated moalboal. We can't thank enough Alain, Simon and there team for our wonderful place and wonderful welcoming.

Surrounded by the mangrove trees and the Badian Bay, the Eskapo Verde Resort is a beautiful and calming resort - a place to chillax. We stayed in a well designed, cute cottage set amongst the trees. After a great nights sleep, to be woken up by the sound of the birds was a great way to start the day. The restaurant served great food and also provided a great opportunity to see the local people searching for crabs etc in the bay and to watch the beautiful sunset along with refreshing gin and tonic ( other alcoholic drinks are available!) The owners Alain and Simon who took the time to personally greet us, have created a welcoming and memorable environment with very friendly and hospitable staff. Unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night and would have loved to extend our stay.
