Portal RV Resort

I've booked to stay at here in September and I decided on this park due to the fact that they claim to be flexible if you need to amend or change your booking because 'they understand that changes happen'. I needed to change my booking and emailed them at every email address I could find. I also called a couple of times and didn't get an answer (this is a costly option for me as I am based in the UK). No replies to any of my attempts to contact them and I now just want to cancel and stay somewhere else that looks after it's customers. I'll write off the $90 I have paid as a learning experience!

This is our 2nd stay at Village Camp in Moab. We love it there. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The resort managers, Lisa and Randy went above and beyond to assist us when we had challenges with our travels. Not to mention, the grounds were impeccable, the views gorgeous and facilities so clean and updated. The jacuzzi's were the icing on the cake. See you next year!

Pos staff, just read the bad reviews. The bad reviews are all true. Rude from the beginning to the end. I would go next door to Sun. Cable TV didn't work, wifi is a joke. Guy running around in red cart is a joke. Trash bins full. Go somewhere else.!

We decided to try this RV park since it had good reviews. We come through Moab once a month and usually stay at the Sun Outdoors North, which we like. The place promise Wifi, if was not working, cable tv- there were no access in our site. The hot tub was not working either, but at least was hot. These are not major things but when you pay for something they should deliver what they advertise. The park itself is pretty and clean. Great clean showers and our dog loved the dog park. We’ll be going back to The Sun Outdoors North next time similar park same amenities. This experiment did not work.

We stayed in this park for 7 nights, site R63. It was on the pond and faced the mountain which was lovely. The site was concrete, level, and easy to hook up. The check-in was quick and the staff was very nice and helpful. We did not use the restrooms or showers but the laundry room was very clean and well furnished. The proximity to Arches and downtown Moab can't be beat. Sunset Grill is gorgeous for dinner with a stunning view and good food.

We stayed here for 12 days and overall it was very good. Service was excellent - staff were responsive. Views were great, and facilities were clean, bathrooms nice, pools were nice and not crowded. Great location very close to downtown Moab and Arches National Park. The mosquitoes, however, were terrible. So bad that no one was leaving their RVs unless it was necessary. They waited several days before treating, which is the main complaint. Also, the stagnant water in the back of the park smells pretty bad. The dog parks are nice, lots of grass in the back one which is larger. Very little shade in most of the spaces - the ones farther towards the entrance with gazebos are nicer.
