Miriam Vale Motel

The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. The hot water pressure in the shower was great. The room was plenty big enough and was fantastic value. The pub down the road offers cold beverages and good value food. Overall, a great place to stay on a long roadtrip up north and the return leg.

Was ever so grateful that Jill found us a room at the last minute as we were driving from Mackay to GoldCoast and we were way too tired to continue the trip. We arrived at midnight and Jill had everything set up for an easy check in including having the heater on, making the room so cozy. We fell asleep instantly and were able to wake super refreshed for the rest of the journey home. From now on we will book in regardless as it makes for an easier drive PLUS next door is the Big Crab where the crab sandwiches are to die for!

Excellent guest experience. Our TV didn't work...was no problem for the manager to set us up in an upgraded room. Bigger room and very comfortable bed. Highly recommend place to stay. Location is perfect and quiet. Food at the local hotel is good and well priced.

Was the perfect stop over place to stay with a short walk to the hotel for dinner! Very spacious room and lovely staff. All the amenities were great and undercover parking for when it’s raining was a bonus. Nice and clean room and facilities too

The locals are friendly. The rooms were beautifully clean and updated bathrooms with great water pressure. Travelling through and in need of a good sleep and shower I can't fault it. The beds were super comfy. A great pub meal 2 mins walk away. Well done! I would definitely stay again.

Jill the resident manager at the Miriam Vale Motel was very friendly to our whole family. She couldn't have been more accommodating to ensure our comfort and also made recommendations for dinner and other local opportunities. The Miriam Vale Hotel did a great wood fired pizza on the Saturday night. We stayed overnight with the bushfires in progress. It was so hard to escape the smoke anywhere at this time but this wasn't a reflection or fault of the motel. The family room was neat and clean, there was good space for the 5 of us, the beds were comfortable and all our needs were met. The motel is located centrally on the highway and despite the smoke the kids had a great breaky at the bakery literally just a few steps away open on a Sunday morning and play at the local park (which is an amazing break for a family) just across the road from that. I think we'd definitely stay again at the motel. Don't forget to stop and venture a street back from the highway and experience a little more of what Miriam Vale has to offer too. Thanks!
