Our hotel chain of choice, we found the usual high standard. However, because I don't walk at all well I telephoned and asked to be not too far from reception. I was offered an accessible room on the ground floor, which proved to be only a couple of rooms down the corridor, 'TICK' The room, No12, was EXCELLENT, and although I am only partially disabled, I can commend it to anybody who uses a wheelchair. The bed was, I am fairly sure, wheelchair height, certainly lower than a normal PI bed. The bathroom was excellent, a full wet room with ample grab bars and fences and a robust shower seat. It had both rainfall and hand-held jets to the shower. The bathroom door was sliding and wide, so no navigating round an intrusive door. There was a violet night light in the bathroom, so with the door left open it was easy to see to get out in the night. There were multiple call points round the facility, including one on one side of the bed. However the one next to the toilet was missing its button cord, so deduct a point, especially as the toilet is a common place to suffer a heart attack! Altogether VERY impressed!
