Booked this hotel back in March for part of my wife's 50th birthday celebrations, but all of a sudden over last 24hrs they claim to be unable to verify my credit card details, despite giving them three separate cards to choose from, and payment not being due till late September, for our trip beginning of October. They then just cancelled our 5night stay, Weds to Mon, and immediately after were fully booked. I strongly suspect they either over booked, or bumped my booking to accommodate a bigger more profitable one, as my banks assure me there was no problem there end, and no sign of any payment being requested by the hotel.... Very, very poor behaviour on there part, but probably a lucky escape on our part, if that's their attitude to customers!!!
