The Waters of Minocqua

Some very dirty parts of the room, like a goopy black substance around the top of the ice bucket, some brown, dried liquid that was spilled down the wall, right next to the sink where the towels were hung (so, hard to believe that it wasn't seen), the area around the kiddie pool was very dirty. It's a smaller "ledge" that's probably hard to clean but a lot of the kids wanted to jump in from that side since it was a deeper part of the pool. The shower head made an awful, high pitched sound. I couldn't do anything to make it stop, besides shut the water off. Other than that, a great place! We had so much fun.

Nice place. More staff needed for gift shop n coffee bar. To many people checking in for one person to make the Starbucks coffee. Kind of a bummer had to go somewhere else for the coffee. Place was nice kid had a blast in water park. Pizza in bar restaurant was good. Third time staying here will come again was worth the money. Hot tub is cool in winter months being outside in a hot tub is cool .

It is a lovely hotel with a spectacular log entrance, rustic pub, swim area, coffee shop (with Starbucks). Staff was friendly. We stayed only 1 night in a standard double. It was clean but awkwardly designed (and when peeking in other standard rooms being cleaned, all were the same). The bathroom (shower,tub, toilet only) was so tiny as to be difficult to navigate. It was totally inaccessible - hard to move, deep tub/ no handbar. Sink was in bedroom space. The couch in the bedroom was next to TV facing the opposite wall so no way to. Watch TV except in bed. So despite being a nice looking room, not particularly comfortable.

Dusty, but property is looking great! Even though the was still undergoing some major reconstruction, it was pretty clean throughout. New shower surrounds look and work GREAT!!!

We've stayed here many times, and have always had positive experiences. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Glad to be there off season Stayed here because of the water “park” - really was just multiple pools with two slides that one could use. We got there and slides closed early, so we couldn’t use them. There were 3-4 pools to use - one was for water volleyball, one for littles and the other was 31/2 ish ft deep. Lots of tables in the pool area. There is a game room across from the pool where you load up a game card to play a variety of games for tickets - skeeball, baskets, Halo, strong man, driving & shooting games - that kept little busy. Hotel was getting a facelift - areas were roped off for work. Which I don’t mind, means the hotel cares. Not sure if I would want to be here in the summer when tourism is in full swing. Didn’t use coffee shop, breakfast or restaurant.
