Homewood Suites By Hilton Milwaukee Downtown

My husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

The hotel was nice and good location. Restaurants near by. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good as well. No parking, we had to park across the street. Also, Saturday night we were unable to sleep due to the the noise from the bar next door. Music was extremely loud.

Went downtown for the Steve Miller concert. The hotel is a great fit for the city. I felt like I was at home. Everyone was helpful and made my stay wonderful. It was close to the venue and could walk everywhere. Hilton is always my 1st choice when finding a hotel.

Rooms are nice and good location but noise was horrible from other rooms and from the street. If you are a hard sleeper it might be a great place to stay. You have to park across road in public parking unless you do not plan to go in and out because it’s a per entry full charge each time you go in at the hotel side. We could not get the air unit in room to stay on. Junk for breakfast so no good fruit options or even yogurt.

The hotel is very clean. The staff, Angel, was friendly and helpful. The interior is updated, sleek and irganized. The breakfast was excellent. Missing milk station. Excellent mattress. We had a goods nights rest, despite the noisy motorcycles at night. Walking distance to restaurant. I recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotem and people I was very well looked after by the entire staff. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The bed and shower are excellent. I will definitely stay here again in the future, I recommend everyone to use this hotel. Tks alot

Great hotel. September 2024 Great hotel, spacious rooms with a kitchenette and nice view of the city and river, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was ok, unfortunately there's no indoor pool, just a jacuzzi in the basement. Excelente location, walkind distance to River Walk and Milwaukee Public Market, great place to eat and have some wine. We'll be back.
