Garibaldi Palace

I had initially booked a stay at Hotel Ritter in Milan for April. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling error on my part, I needed to change my booking dates. I understand that changes can be inconvenient, so I offered to pay a fee to accommodate my request. However, I was met with a disappointing level of inflexibility and indifference from the hotel staff. They declined my request without even attempting to find a compromise or solution. Their lack of willingness to assist and their focus solely on taking my money was disheartening. As a traveler, I value good customer service and understanding, which I believe are key components of the hospitality industry. My experience with Hotel Ritter has left me deeply dissatisfied. Losing 500 euros due to what I perceive as incompetence and greed is not the kind of service I expected. This hotel has disgusting customer service and from one can see from other reviews also , it is disgusting as a whole.

Hotel is tidy and clean has great service, the only downside is ( for winter times ) its not very close to center for walking, its approximately 20 -25 mins which means at late hours u have to take a taxi which is around 25 eur, but the staff is very helpful. The keys are funny ) metal and very heavy so u gotta leave them in front desk ))))

Pros: the hotel is in a fantastic location and the reception staff was nice. Cons: there are definitely many issues in the hotel that are due to poor quality service and that can certainly be improved upon. The most striking one is the amount of dust in the room and, in general, around the establishment. Linked to this, the room service provided was below standards, as they barely made the bed and clean nothing in the room nor substitute towels even when left on the floor. Also, there is quite poor air circulation, which not only affects the temperature in the room, particularly noticeable in high temperatures, but also the huge presence of mosquitoes that might affect the stay of many people since not pleasant at all. In addition, we had a blockage of the bath drainage water hole that prevented us to shower on the last day. When highlighted this to reception, all they could offer was an alternative room, which was more a hassle than anything else, rather than calling a maintenance person who could have resolved the problem, saying that at the time the issue was reported (7pm) nobody was left to do such a job. Overall, the place needs a better service, more maintenance and care. The negatives definitely outweigh the positives and I would not come back here.

Good location , friendly staff just a bit basic and no iron. Would use again if back in Milan for sure can’t complain for the price. Breakfast had everything we needed for getting up and out. Metro station is located at end of street and very easy to use

Good basic budget hotel that covers all of the basics. Reception staff are friendly and speak English. Rooms are spacious enough, look a little tired but with enough sockets for charging your electronic devices. The rooms are quiet and the air con is good and quiet enough for you to get a good nights sleep. The beds are firm with a choice of firm/soft pillows and quilt and/or blanket. There are soaps and body wash in the bathroom and a basic hair dryer, all good enough for a overnight stay. There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the bedrooms but there are cold drinks and snack dispensing machines in the foyer and the bedroom corridors. The drinks and snacks are cheap compared to surrounding shops. The breakfast is good and has the necessities. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants close to this hotel and it is in a nice area. The hotel reception can easily book you a cab to Linate airport, or there is Moscova metro station on the corner of the street. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Sforzesco castle and park.

Great location good breakfast, and very Friendly and helpful staff, Rooms are perfect for a weekend break, would definitely recommend and all for a great price too. Metro station 3 minutes walk, with good bars and restaurants very close by
