The Villa is very dated, which tbf we were ok with as we like the location didn’t mind the old furniture etc sometimes that can be quaint. Place is very tired and my view is Interhome is just milking this for all its worth well and truly past an overhaul decorato..much better accommodation even 1 kilometre from La Cala. We had major insect problems in both bathrooms, one bathroom could not be used due to cockroaches coming up the shower drain and the other bathroom had an ant infestation which we sprayed twice per day to control. AGAIN THIS IS VILLA 18a to be clear not other properties on Buganvillas..

We stayed at - “ 42 las buganvilias @the pool la cala de mijas” - and it was “Simply the best”. Philippe was a superb owner and collected us at airport and returned us to airport. Studio was excellent with large terrace with couch - table and 4 chairs and 2 loungers and only 19 steps to pool. Bed very comfortable - kitchen and utensils excellent and shower room and hot water excellent. Will definitely return and met lots of very friendly people. Wash Machine was great and easy to use and drier on Terrace Sun all day on Terrace. 🌻🍷👍🌈🌈
