Mijas Residence

We had an absolutely amazing two weeks at this wonderful place. The hosts Deborah & Bas and their staff made us feel very welcome. Overall the place is great. Everything works perfectly. The location is unique with the view from the terrace and you are quite close to everything. We have only goods things to say and will give our warmest recommendations.

This place , views and the hosts are simply amazing ! The setting is absolutely beautiful, everywhere is spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard ! Nothing is too much trouble from as little as getting fresh bread delivered and hung on our door in the morning to accommodating our friends and putting on the most amazing paella and Sangria spread for us all in the afternoon ! The honesty bar is a fabulous idea and really reasonable to complement sunbathing on the luxurious sun loungers ! The pool is fresh water so super refreshing and lots of areas to take a break from the sun ! Mijas pueblo is two stops up on the bus and Fuengirola is about 10 minutes down the hill if your after something more lively. Debs and Baz can also sort you some bus cards out so it works out at 40 cents per journey ! If you are after a much loved and beautiful escape you will love this ! We did and have booked again for next year whilst we were there xx

Hospitality bar none! We were warmly welcomed by Bas and Deborah upon our arrival. They had corresponded at several points prior to our arrival to ensure we had all the information necessary. Amazing view, beautiful and unique suites! We were upgraded to the Hamam Suite - aptly named for its former purpose. Many thoughtful details ensure guests’ comfort. Deborah made us a beautiful breakfast!

Stayed here for a short break. Baz and Deborah are great hosts and have thought of just about everything to make for a perfect break. Added to this, the views from your patio and the pool are uninterrupted and stunning. The flats are spotless with all facilities provided. The honesty bar at the pool makes your stay even easier. There’s also breakfast on offer if you don’t want to cook. Five minutes drive from Mijas Pueblo or there’s a bus stop right outside. Hopefully, we will return. Thanks.

Mijas Residence is beautifully appointed , in a wonderful location with amazing views . Bas and Deborah , the owners couldn’t do enough for you . The white washed Villa has been lovingly restored to accommodate only a handful of people in apartments , all with private terraces overlooking the sea . The apartments were immaculate and finished to an excellent standard with everything you would ever need . Waking up each morning to that view was truly magical . The pool area was very welcome on a hot day with plenty of sun beds dotted around the lovely terraces. Deborah provided an excellent breakfast on the terrace , again lovingly prepared with only the best of ingredients. Outside the gates was the bus stop , providing a great way to get around if you hadn’t got a car . The buses were very frequent and it was great to travel the short distance up the hill to Mijas Pueblo and then it was a comfortable stroll back. Mijas was a beautiful Spanish small town with great restaurants and lovely plazas where you could stop and admire the panoramic views. I would thoroughly recommend staying in this amazing villa . A place where it was so easy to relax and unwind . Will definitely return . Thank you Bas and Deborah for sharing your beautiful villa

Spent 3 nights here at the end of April/beginning of May and it was perfect! Just a joy from beginning to end. The photos almost don’t do it justice. The hosts have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are fabulous, the grounds are beautifully kept and the views are superb. We can’t wait to return!
