I'm a regular visitor to this hotel and stay here almost every weekend. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and make us feel valued as guests. Lorraine the cleaner leaves her rooms spotless and always checks that everything is OK for us with good humour and a smile. Reception staff I'd like to mention are Vicky, Kirsty, Kayleigh and Lucy. They are very efficient and welcoming and make me feel great when I arrive. Sharon and Darren, the chefs that do the evening meals are hard working and friendly. The food is great when they are in the kitchen. I'd thoroughly recommend this affordable hotel, which is why I am a regular guest.

The steak and ale pie cooked to perfection by Sharon, thank you. And thank you to the other staff at this hotel for the friendly reception. Nice dining area and good location handy for the railway station and short walk to the town centre. Good room facilities.

I come here a couple of times a year, normally for 5-7days at a time. It is always excellent, the staff are amazing and friendly and the breakfast is always great. Jillian who welcomes us to breakfast every morning is lovely, she welcomes us with a smile and doesn't make a big deal when my autistic children want to sit in a booth everytime. If there is a booth free, she will make sure me and my girls can use it. The deal where children eat for free with a paying adult is amazing. I have twins who honestly eat more than I do at breakfast. The rooms are always clean and inviting. You honestly get great service everytime, I stay here everytime because I know what I'm getting everytime.

We had such a lovely stay at Premier Inn, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jillian. She was an incredible breakfast host – warm, friendly, and always going the extra mile. Every morning, she had our table reserved, remembered our room numbers without hesitation, and even made sure we had water bottles and takeaway cups for our long days at uni. It really made us feel looked after and started each day on a positive note. Thank you, Jillian – you’re a star!
