Facilities looked a little tired, buffet spread not extensive and pretty mediocre. Onsen was the only saving grace. Glass and wood structure not great for winter!

My recent stay at Onsen Papawaqa Hotel in Miaoli left much to be desired. While the location offers potential, several aspects fell short of expectations. The room condition differed noticeably from the images provided, showing signs of age and wear. The so-called “onsen” experience was basic, offering little more than a hot water soak. The dining options were adequate but unremarkable. However, the most disappointing aspect was the customer service. Staffs interactions often lacked warmth and attentiveness, which significantly impacted the overall experience. Considering the price point, the value for money was questionable. While some travelers might find the hotel suitable for a brief stay, those seeking a authentic onsen experience or high-quality service may want to explore other options in the area. As with any accommodations, personal preferences vary, and guests are encourages to research thoroughly before booking. Last note, they offer free bottle of infusing oil for 5-stars google review, guess that how the price come about.

Wow this was the best hotel I've ever stayed in, I would 100% revisit this hotel for the amazing hot springs and stunning rooms.

Awesome Travel

Always nice to be there, great experience as usual. Good breakfast and dinner spread, nice private or public Onsen amidst nature. Not a place for barrier free access though.

Was allocated a room that’s near to the road side. This road divides the hotel lobby and some of the rooms on the next building. a little noisy esp when motorcycle passes. Food wise the hotel doesn’t serve lunch which is very unique. So for lunch you have to venture to nearby eating houses or perhaps 7 Eleven convenience shop. Room is clean and service is good.

Everything was perfect. Service was efficient and professional. One of the best buffets. Big bed, beautiful room and scenery. Will be back!

透過平台訂房為觀月，到現場入住登記時臨時加價升級為觀止套房。（附加圖片為觀止2樓房）洗澡、上廁所及泡澡時要拉下窗簾遮蔽，下方一樓為游泳池共用區。 衛生程度、設施跟飯店設計都美得沒話說，但房間的溫泉設施真的要注意不要滑倒，即便飯店已放置許多止滑墊還是要非常注意，攜帶長輩要小心、小朋友絕對不要亂跑，飯店附的夾腳拖能‘稍微’止滑。飯店房間隔音很好，房間門隔音也不錯（可能外面也安靜），整個飯店連電梯都用了滿滿的檜木（味），很放鬆舒服。 前往飯店的道路會經過幾段經常有落石掉落風險的路段，行經時看到路邊的石頭可以確定掉落風險還是不小的，希望有關單位可以多加維護，尤其下雨天要注意，可能會影響前往的意願。 可能去的是平日的關係，部分櫃檯人員不愛攬事，我跟同行人拖著行李箱（動靜很大）站在芳療櫃檯正前方翻著menu討論按摩方案，小姐就坐在櫃檯後面側著身看手機滑臉書忽略我們，站在那幾分鐘都沒反應，直到我們出聲打招呼才願意來招呼。其他遇到的工作人員都很友善、熱情。

確認預訂後，就享受到無微不至的照顧。非常詳細的入住指示、入住確認、親切的Check In服務、入住後和現場員工們的互動都非常好。房間本身也非常棒，乾淨、到處都充滿檜木的香氣。迎賓食物、早餐也都表現的可圈可點。非常棒的入住體驗！

飯店人員服務真的很棒，風景、建築都讓人非常舒服，很推薦要住個2晚以上。唯一可惜健身房的設施有點少。下一個冬天❄️來臨分；會想再安排到泰安觀止的一次小旅行。

蓮蓬頭水非常小，溫泉冷熱水開關很難關緊。房間通風不良一直有不知道是煙味還是異味。但是服務人員態度很親切，早餐或晚餐也好吃。

房間很舒適，沒有潮濕或霉味，房間泡湯池很大！！ 戶外湯區還有飲料區泡久了可以去休息，晚上很漂亮，旁邊有711很方便，泡了兩天整個懶洋洋的太舒服了～
