Location nearly 2km from Burleigh Head but close to bus stop up and down the coast including 777 to airport. . Is close to Miami few eating places except Miami Rice Chinese nice. Burleigh north surf club terrible service . Reception open limited times so forget about luggage storage with early or late flight schedules. Roadworks overnight no sleep single glazed windows noisy . l make sure these are complete before booking. View from 13a annazinv annd sun all day only thing about this place but avoid this room in summer months. Bathrooms mould and grubby and carpets worn and stained.

We booked a superior apartment for a 7 night stay. We were part of a larger family group also staying . Our apartment was, to be frank horrible. It was old, dirty, worn, and just plain awful. I was appalled at the state of the furnishings and the decor. My family were in a completely refurbished apartment on a different level that was absolute luxury and they had paid the same as I had. When I broached my disappointment with management I was told that I had booked through the wrong site ( their own website) , and there was nothing they could do. The onsite manager was less then helpful and treated me with disdain, that I should even question her. I have travelled to third world countries that had better accommodations. The Queen bed in the master was two singles pushed together with a disgusting foam overlay on top. The kitchen was dirty with a selection of op shop quality crockery and cutlery that wet mismatched and and shot selection of cookware that was essentially useless. The first time I used the oven it filled the apartment with smoke. The fridge had been painted badly to hide the marks and rust on the door - it was also dirty. I had to clean the entire kitchen and all the dishes before we used anything. The indoor pool was either to hot or to cold, the sauna was closed the entire time. When the external windows were cleaned dirty water sprayed in all over the bathroom through the ventilation . The ONLY positive is the location- I will never return.

The main bathroom had no blind or curtain. Nothing at all and no fixtures to put one up. You can see directly into the shower from the highway. When asking about this we were told the owners choose how the unit is furnished, we don't have control over that. We were also told there is a no refund policy regardless of circumstances. Surely this must be again privacy rules?? Not impressed will never go back.

My husband and I stayed at Burleigh Surf Apartments for a much anticipated break for our 30th wedding anniversary. Initially, we were thrilled with our 14th-floor apartment’s spectacular views and excellent location, and the reception staff were wonderful. But sadly, that’s where the positives ended. The apartment website mentioned nearby construction, but there was NO warning that the noise occurred at NIGHT TIME, from 7pm to 6am, most nights of the week! Concrete cutters, jackhammers and high pitched screeching made sleep impossible and the old, single-glazed windows did nothing to block the noise. In the end I had to sleep on the floor the entire stay, wedged between the laundry and bathroom, where it was a little quieter, wearing both ear plugs and ear muffs. Our request for a refund, in order to go elsewhere was refused by management, and the only alternative apartment on offer was dark and dingy, with no view. We suggested that management update their website to inform future guests of the night time noise, but as yet they haven’t bothered to do this. The kitchenware was old and cheap, and the filthy vacuum cleaner had to be cleaned out before it worked. Using the washing machine flooded the laundry, soaking my makeshift bed and the carpet in another room. It turned out a previous leak had been ‘solved’ by placing a bucket under the laundry tub, which overflowed when the washing machine was used. We reported this to management but based on other reviews, they clearly don’t care about the state of the apartments. Then, towards the end of our stay, workers were given access to our locked apartment while we were out and a valuable item was stolen. We tried reporting the theft immediately, but reception was closed and didn’t reopen before we had to leave, so we contacted management as soon as we were back in NZ. We also phoned and spoke to the Burleigh police but unfortunately we were unable to file a police report from NZ. We relayed this to management also. The insulting and patronising response from management was appalling. The onsite person wasn’t interested in the facts or finding out more and repeatedly insinuated that the item hadn’t been stolen, despite all evidence to the contrary (short of video footage!). She even denied it on the basis that the workmen’s ‘access was limited to your laundry area’ (the whole apartment is open)! Not coincidentally, this was the exact location I last had the item - next to my makeshift bed on the floor. All we expected was a sincere apology, a genuine attempt to investigate the matter, and an offer of compensation. But instead management just fobbed us off, referring us back to the police, knowing that we couldn’t file a report from New Zealand. Our locked apartment should have been a secure, safe place that we could consider our personal space during our stay. It wasn’t. This was the most appalling customer ‘service’ I’ve ever encountered. Recently we stayed here and had to leave. It was old broken down,mouldy, rusty,and noise over night we were not informed road works for light rail. Bed was like a hammock No kindness from management initially offered a credit for roa noise but then management reneged on that No soap or detergents. Allegedly 4star accommodation more like 2 star

If you took away the beach side location and coastal views, you’d be a fool to book this 1980’s twilight zoned Faulty Tower real life reboot. I booked a three bedrooms sub penthouse for myself and the family. The flat was large and airy, affording expansive view of the ocean. Beds were comfortable. However , everything about the the decore, furnishings and appliances screams tired, cheap, overused. Not a penny seems to have been reinvested to bring this place to the modern century. There is no going the extra mile- only extras provided are a couple of dollar shop sachets of washing up liquid and threadbare toilet paper. Towels must have been used and washed hundreds of times. Wi-Fi is that 2002 type that logs you out at every opportunity. But the most blah thing was the service. Reception is unprofessional to the point that the receptionist parked her own car in our parking slot and didn’t even apologise for it. A broken - super old- washing machine was not repaired by the handyman with not as much of an explanation. What’s not missing is the rules and regulations posters that cheaply cover the entire building - making sure that customers are left with the feeling they have just been ripped off and patronised at the same time. If you are looking to feel fabulous by the beach - avoid at all costs.

We spent 8 nights in a standard ocean view apartment. Let’s start with the good: - great location - free on site parking - amazing views once you clear the tree line (10th floor) - very spacious apartments - indoor heated pool (although it’s small and overrun with screaming kids) - super close to shops and food The bad: - obstructed ocean views are sold as ‘ocean views’ - HUGE variety in fit out (we spent four nights in apartment 3C and then we moved to 14A). The difference in furniture was unbelievable considering both rooms were same rate - Leonie (building manager) quite rude and apathetic - bathrooms are very dated (original 1990 fit out) - the outdoor pool was freezing (we stayed early April) - the kitchen utensils are limited and really poor quality (we had to ask for replacement kettles at both apartments as they both broke) In summary, you’re taking a big gamble with the apartment you’re allocated. Be prepared to move to a better one if you’re not happy. If you don’t care so much about the fit out, then you’ll be happy.

Great location and good facilities. Million dollar view but our apartment was starting to look weary. Cheap kettle, cheap toaster and a Salvation army lounge setting. TV took some figuring out as well. We hardly used the balcony due to either wind or glare. We would strongly consider staying here again.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 15th floor. Views were amazing. Beds were comfortable. The place needs a refurb .. a bit tired and dated but it had everything you needed. Shower was awful. No pressure at all. But over all a nice stay hence the 4 stars

Can't beat this for facilities, location and view. Indoor and outdoor pools, spacious apartment with 360o views. The location at the end of Burleigh beach is perfect and quiet. Right on the beach

Great views up and down the beach and the hinterland if staying in a side apartment. Whilst the block may be an older building the spaciousness and view make up for this many times over. Access to local shops and restaurants and the surf club across the road makes for very enjoyable relaxing holiday. An apartment above the trees (8+) is necessary if you want a view of the sea.

Our apartment was on the fifteenth floor - it was light, airy and very clean and the views up towards Surfers were spectacular. On check-in the receptionist was friendly and very helpful - and any other time we required information reception went 'above and beyond'. I'd definitely recommend this accommodation for a holiday on the Gold Coast
