Ulysse Djerba Thalasso & Spa

I stayed at the Ulysse hotel in Djerba from April 18 to 25, 2024. This is an older hotel with a lot of class and style. Until recently, the hotel was dedicated to adults and you can still feel it. The location of the hotel is extraordinary, it is literally on the coastline. April was not the full season, but the hotel had a lot to offer even in the partial season. It has a rich SPA offer, two swimming pools: outdoor and indoor, and animators organize many activities for guests. The hotel has a beautiful beach. The rooms are large, clean and spacious. The view from the balconies to the sea is brilliant. The food was very tasty and varied, and the waiter's care was at a very high level. The service was friendly and helpful. I rate the hotel very highly and recommend it to people who require the highest quality.

My first time in this hotel love the staff love the place 100% vist again, the entertainment team was brilliant, loved every night with these guys recommended 100%, room service was brilliant the rooms are very and tidy and I will come back to my friend youssef

We had a great time the staff was excellent the entertainment team was amazing with us, on the night we arrived Hatem from reception was extremely good and professional with us. Majority of the staff of the hotel was courteous and professional towards us. The food was good very fresh and good variety every day. We also used the spa where we enjoyed a great massage both of us me and my sister. The only downside on this is that the jacuzzi needs a deeper cleaning. And for an all inclusive hotel there were not much of snacks/fruits in between the meals times. We are saying this just as a constructive criticism never in a downgrading term. 🤩🤩🤩

The hotel was really good the Animation is really very good evry night there is samthing defernt the was perfect and there special vue from the garden and this is third time this year the rooms are very clean and new i think this is the best familal hotel in djerba

Met all our expectations of a 5 star hotel; excellent location; huge variety of food--be it buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner: all cooked and presented to a very high standard; there were two special dinner nights: Tunisian and Mediterranean. Excellent meat tagine--and the sole on Med night was equally very good.

Pros : it has a good SPA, beautiful pool , good program/ animation for the guests and a very knowledgeable and attentive DOCTOR that speaks many languages and was very effective. Yes I needed a doctor during my stay , read more abt it in the “cons” below… Cons : so many downsides : the worst for me was the Cleanliness : bad, really bad… the towels in the restaurant were not changed I think since they have grease stains and food “remaining”… Crew - waiter’s hands were dirty, very dirty… disgusting and maybe due to this I got very sick in my 2nd night at the hotel, yes food poisoning… me and another friend… I had a terrible night until the doctor arrived in the morning and gave me the medication… The ones cooking and serving the food : Bare hands - no gloves on… perfect ambiance for contamination BEDROOM : No air conditioning, they turn it off by the end of September and regardless it is still hot with high temperatures they do not turn it on… No plugs for charging phones and other devices (just one plug available and we needed to unplug the TV and the lamp to charge our phones… Food : buffet with many options but very grease food and lack of cleanliness of green leaves and other options of raw food. I can guarantee (and you can figure out how I learned about it) that brócoli and lettuce were the source of my food poisoning… Reception : Just one key per room… yes, if you are traveling to a friend - my case - we need to be glued to each other since there was only one key available… I need to go to the reception a few times until I found a nice lady (and outliner in this hotel) that gave me a spare key Please do yourself a favor : stay away from this hotel…
