Casa Polanco Hotel Boutique

One of the best hotels in which I have stayed in over 50 years of traveling. From the perfect location on Parque Lincoln, to the great building and rooms, to the beautiful art, furnishings, and furniture, Casa Polanco is fantastic. All of the physical aspects were amplified by the extraordinary staff who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Every aspect of our stay was perfect.

Our stay at Casa Polanco was truly memorable. The care and attention given to guests is heartfelt. Everyone was exceptional for their attentiveness. I want to point out the remarkable efficiency in securing reservations at even the most difficult spots and successfully handling various requests, as well as the excellent management of all room reservations. The breakfast was outstanding, as were all the food, beverages, hotel facilities amd cleanliness.Everything was seamless, efficient, warmly welcoming, with small important touches and details making guests feel truly at home and pampered at the hotel. We highly recommend Casa Polanco without hesitation.

Above all...the service is beyond excelente!. As to the hotel it self MARVELOUS! Location perfect. Their moto " esta en tu casa" make yourself at home...true! Every single person smiled, offer help, unpecable and should anything be amassed they where quick to apologize.

Casa Polanco is beyond exceptional. Not only is the hotel beautiful, inside and out, it is a perfect place to enjoy calm and serenity. Located in Polanco next to Lincoln Park, the location was perfect. As much as we loved the hotel and Polanco, the staff made this small hotel really stand out. Romina and Roberto helmed the front desk with grace, good humor and efficiency. The veranda staff were all fun and talented hosts and we already miss them, Juan, Benji, Guillermo, Raymundo, and Gustavo. Every morning we were spoiled with a options for breakfast, including an incredible menu of fully cooked breakfast items. Cakes and pastries were also available as were cappuccinos and very fine coffee selections. In the afternoon there were snacks along with wine and cheese available. During the day, the hotel also provided an ice cream cart filled with popsicles. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was fully stocked, including the latest Dyson hair dryer. The library area provided a nice area to relax with a liquor cart stocked with some of the best Tequilas and Mezcals for a refreshing beverage of your choice. I could go on and on, but how many different ways can you say perfect and incredible before sounding redundant. We have been traveling for years and have stayed at some really great hotels. I am not sure I have enough words to describe our stay at this hotel. The bedrooms are immaculate, spacious and clean. There is an amazing array of freebies in the room. Breakfast is great and a wonderful choice on both the buffet and the menu. Some amazing juices to start the day. We also eat dinner and that was high quality. There are a couple of very pleasant seating areas; the library is indoors and there are seats on the terrace. On top of that the staff are superlative. They really make the stay very special. They cannot do enough. This is definitely the place to stay in Mexico City.

Beautiful but way too loud. It doesn’t matter how stunning the architecture is when you can hear every conversation from the lobby in your room. And most rooms face the lobby. There is also nowhere for groups to go at night after 10pm to enjoy each other’s company. Our group of friends celebrating a birthday were kicked out of the library at 10pm every night for being too loud. And we were just sitting down talking while enjoying drinks. The cost is too much for the noise factor. Sad because it’s beautiful and the staff tries, but many of the front desk workers are too young and don’t understand the nuances of good service. Several of our friends experienced issues with their reservations which was also unacceptable. My advice is to confirm your reservation a month before you arrive over the phone. But honestly, there are many other places to stay that don’t cost as much and offer more amenities. I really wanted to like this place, but it’s like a supermodel with no brains. All beauty and zero substance.
