We checked into Hippodrome Hotel located in La Condesa neighborhood which is absolutely beautiful. There is an incredible park across the street which is huge and all of the streets around it are tree-lined. The hotel is boutique and really nice. The staff is very friendly and there to help you with whatever you need. Each day we were greeted by the manager in the lobby asking how our stay was and what we were doing for the day. We stayed in the penthouse 2 that had a wonderful large terrace. I would recommend this room. Only great things to say about this hotel, staff and location.

We spent 3 nights here in early April and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and had good advice on how best to get around the city and back to the airport. The room itself was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a fairly narrow building with a vintage elevator or stairs to get up to the rooms. If you have a larger body, you may find this a bit uncomfortable as well as in the bathrooms because the door to the bathroom and the door to the shower open into each other so the space gets tight. However, the water temperature and pressure were amazing. The AC worked almost too well! The neighborhood is beautiful with gorgeous parks, lots of restaurants and cafes, and easily accessible to the rest of the city.

We stayed at the Hippodrome Hotel when we visited Mexico City for the first time with family and friends. I am not kidding when I say this place BLEW ME AWAY!! We were in the middle of the most amazing area of Mexico City…. Restaurants, bars, shops and a beautiful park to walk through. The people at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was one of a kind. Denise was our go to contact at the hotel and she treated us like we have known each other for years. They set us up with rides to the pyramids and other attractions that we wanted to visit. We will 100% stay here again and couldn’t imagine a better experience. Thank you all very much for a perfect stay.

Our stay at the Hippodrome couldn’t not have been more pleasant. My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights. Guest service members were extremely hospitable, helpful, and friendly. In the heart of La Condesa, the location perfectly complimented our trip itinerary. Cafes, restaurants, and museums were all within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here :)

Incredible location and rooms, and staff! Everyone was so helpful and kind. We'll be staying here again. The hotel is located in beautiful La Condessa with dozens of great food and fun options within walking distance. At night, the hotel is extremely quiet and relaxing - a great way to decompress from the city.

Charming room, charming hotel, lovely staff and an extra shoutout to the housekeeping which was exceptional and thoughtful. Our room was super clean and the bed was comfy. It was a touch on the dark side if that’s important to you, instead of a windows we had a pretty little courtyard. The location couldn’t have been better, Parque Mexico was almost out front yard. It’d be hard to stay in a neighborhood other than condesa in the future.

Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect part of Mexico City. Close to restaurants and shops. Nicely appointed rooms and very comfortable beds. Only 15 rooms on this 5 story building so it makes for a tranquil experience. The staff is attentive and helpful and courteous. Highly recommend this place and I travel a lot.

This was a fantastic boutique hotel! Very comfortable place to stay in a very safe neighborhood, close to downtown and great restaurants and bars! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, everyone spoke English too which was great since my Spanish is very limited. Unlimited bottles of water was a great plus too! Staff was also great with recommendations and with arranging taxis as we needed them. Will be my first choice to stay here again when I’m back in Mexico City next trip!
