Monte Vista Resort-Age 55 Plus

Very well maintained resort with nice large sites and recreation area. Security led me to site and assisted as I backed in my trailer. Trash bins at site were overflowing when I arrived and it was 3 days before next pickup. I literally swapped the bins at my site with a site 3 places away. Could not have done if the park had been full and I was told trash was picked up on Monday. I arrived on Friday.

Fantastic park one of the best we have been to! Facilities are very clean, well maintained, very nice people and staff. We particularly loved the pool areas and the jacuzzis. Very nice, very well, making very clean, highly recommended. Great location also.

i live here. heres some advise. visit in an rv or rent for a while. do not become a resident. why? from experience residents are the only ones that have to follow park rules. visiters..rvrs ect. do not have to follow the park rules.it seems there is one set of rules for residents and one set for rvrs and visitors. plus mv is not consistant. rules change constantly and it really seems like it is who u know working here to get to do what you want. people self appoint themselves to run programs..ect. we pay for the amenities yet we are dictated to by whoever when and how we can use them. yes i tried to move..so many people are trying to get out of here. the pools are overcrowded consrantly..the max limit is not enforced. anyway rv here they have it made. u prob dont want to buy in here. and who knows who is staying in the rv park we are vetted. idk that they are.

Very nice park. Sites easily accommodated our 45’ mh and tow car. Loved that they had weekly trash pick up and recycling (large trash bins provided at every site). There are lots of activities offered and you can walk to an excellent Donut Worry shop, super fresh donuts!

ANTS! Everywhere in the kitchen of the rental. Notified rental contact Rosy, and the number for Teresa evidently not valid, which was our fault according to Rosy and Rosy blamed us for leaving a small bag of chips on the counter. Never had these issues in "clean" rentals. There were 100s of ants everywhere..Teresa even confirmed when she came to view. Never apologized and didn't take any action until Sun, we came in on Fri, reported Sat morning. Ants were so bad we could NOT use the kitchen. No apologies and when we asked for compensation. Why is it so hard to provide quality customer service??? Rosy said it did not warrant any as they took care of the situation 12hrs before we checked out. Worst customer service ever all they want is your $$...stay away!!!

This place is old tired misrepresented on their website. The staff is new. Don’t know what they’re doing. When I pulled in. I was guided to my site and the guide who is security didn’t know the difference between a septic hookup and the water hose. That’s how new he was. I was also told when booking that the cancellation policy was three days prior to, and when I arrived, I was told it was nonrefundable the moment it was booked. This was also goofed up three times prior to arriving partially with thousand trails and partially direct with the staff. Thirdly, you would think you were asking for the holy Grail just to get a monthly program of which they ran out considering sponsors pay for all that it’s disgusting to say the least try getting a hold of somebody at the office where the RVs are and they’re never there and when they are there, they’re all standing around not knowing what they’re doing I suggest you look at other parks in the area since we stayed at a great one and superstition in February hands-down at 10 compared to this one of which one is being generous
