We had a great time at these apartments as a couple in our 60s. Last minute booking for 4 nights, all inclusive. The room we had and the hotel are lovely and clean. The room came with a kitchenette but only 2 cups and some plates provided but strangely no glasses or a kettle. The staff were all very nice from reception staff to all the waiters, bar staff and cleaning staff. Luckily we are not for sitting round the pool ,as from our balcony we could see that all beds had towels on them by 9am, we had no chance getting one even if we had wanted to. We went to the stunning beach which is really close by and paid for sunbeds, we sometimes had an hour round the pool on the way back from the beach around 5/6pm and it was nice. There is a bar at the pool and the lady there is again friendly and very pleasant. Food is limited in my opinion, pretty much the same every day but always nice and hot and could find something but would imagine if staying longer than we did we would have struggled. We did eat out on one of the nights at the restaurant around the corner from the hotel which had lovely views of the beach. All in all a great short break in a nice, clean, friendly hotel.

Best value for money hotel we’ve stayed in. Very good food for this type of hotel. Happy staff and friendly. Faults in room repaired same day as the request. We borrowed an umbrella from reception to compliment one we bought with us (for the beach). Shower gel and toilet roll were good quality (it’s the little things that matter). No long queues at the bar. Excellent and varied entertainment. Firm mattresses. About 6-8 English speaking TV channels.

Both Bethan and I had a lovely time at the resort and definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. The room was clean and tidy and suited us perfectly. The food was a little hit and miss at times which is what we expected for an all inclusive 3* hotel, however, there are a couple of bars and restaurants across the road should you want to venture out for food or a drink. The animation team made the holiday what it was!!! Peter and his team were awesome and I couldn’t speak any more highly of them. They are all extremely engaging and we’re all a bundle of joy, whether it be the daytime activities or the evening’s entertainment. Our favourite member of the animation team was Mara or chicken nugget!!! She was so friendly and always happy to talk despite English not being her first language. Throughout the week, we met some fantastic people thanks to the activities set up by the animation team. We would like to thank Gareth, Stephanie, Charlie, Elise, Oggy, Nicole, Shannon and Taylor for making our holiday so memorable. We are both very grateful and extremely thankful. We both had a lovely week at the resort and will definitely go back in the future!!

A last minute decision and booking took us to Menorca and The Lord Nelson Apartments and we are so glad it did. We arrived about midday, were checked in by a friendly and welcoming receptionist and were given our apartment straight away. The apartment was very clean and spacious, just like in the photos, the balcony overlooked the pool and a sea view bonus. As previously mentioned, there is no kettle but there is a pan and hob and microwave if you like a brew as soon as you wake. The food was much better than other 3 stars we've been to, plenty of selection and the food was always hot. AND a big shout out to the very hard working always smiling restaurant staff, cleaning and bar staff who never stop 👏 . Something to consider with the bar on all inclusive, we were quite surprised that they didn't have a local malibu or baileys on offer, maybe the bar manager could consider putting this on offer please. 😃 Moving on to the pool area, there were enough sun beds while we were there, towels were being placed on them really early in the morning every day so against our beliefs we did the same but this wasn't a problem. My final review goes to the amazing animation team... Peter (who I offered to adopt 😃), Angela, Mara, Angel, and another lady (sorry I didn't get her name), you really made our stay at The Lord Nelson an excellent experience, your team work is extraordinary and very professional ❤️. The guest appearance evening shows were also very professional with some excellent singers. One last tip.... if you're looking for a lively resort with nightclubs this isn't the place for you.

Check in was slow. Reception staff not overly helpful or happy. The cost of the safe was €38 🙄. Restaurant was spotlessly clean. Staff tidied up really quickly and food was replenished quickly. The first AI hotel I’ve ever been to where the food was hot! Breakfast was good as was lunch. Didn’t eat there in the evenings we ate out. Straight after breakfast there are snacks available and the same after lunch. Drinks menu was ok but there was a lot not included. The first AI we’ve been to where ice-ceams were not included. Rooms spacious for 2 people. The sofa bed did not look comfy. Entertainment team work really hard. Loads of activities you can take part in throughout the day. The pool area is small. The pool itself is pretty grim when you look up close. It’s been falling apart and patched up a lot! The deep end is very deep so you find the shallower end busier. The location is amazing. Very close to a lovely beach and restaurants. If you can eat out at Es Pins do it’s AMAZING! The hotel is in a pretty location if you want lively this is not the resort for you. In our opinion this hotel is good for a short break. I wouldn’t have wanted to be there for a week. Also didn’t feel this hotel was for children. Much nicer resorts with much better facilities out there. As with anything in life you get what you pay for!

Tom you should be ashamed of yourself with the chicken nugget comment. No one finds it offewhat we find offensive is now mara cannot say it anymore. The animation make the place and she is very good at her job so to receive a telling off because some SAD individual find chicken nugget offensive is offensive to all mara fans. 🐔🍗😥

The entertainment was fantastic. Peter is the boss. But Sara (aka Terese Queen of the South) was the BEST fantastic smile and couldn’t do enough for everyone. The girl who kept saying Chicken Nugget was so good and very funny Food 6 out of 10. Hotel staff very good. Eli was the best. Lovely surroundings. Definitely worth a visit
