Caybeach Meloneras

Was great as always. Minor issue regarding a request for two towels and reception staff are super grumpy. However all the dining and housekeeping team are 5* Love the little supermarket and easy to eat out in either Maspolomas or Melonoras. Very happy would recommend (again).

Nice hotel in good location about a 20 min walk to the lighthouse. It backs onto a roundabout but its quiet. We had a double room which was accessed via a narrow marble staircase so not for those with mobility issues. Ground floor rooms are available. The room was compact but had a kettle cups glasses and mini fridge so we were able to do our own bfast. Bathroom large with lots of area for toiletries and hairdryer. Large powerful shower. Nice generous balcony with table chairs and laundry dryer. Quiet hotel with entertainment most nights in bar but shuts at 10pm which i feel is a bit early but meloneres is laid back. You can travel to playa del ingles or puerto rico by bus or taxi if you want it lively. We had bfast one morning but found the hot food cold so not worth the €12pp we paid. It needs to be hotter or provide a microwave for heating. We found some other restaurants and bars to the right of the hotel. Sunset bar was great for snacks and drinks. There is also a supermarket there. There is one on site but its dearer but handy for water. A large bottle was in our room on arrival which was good. Pools are nice but the 2 together were chilly and needed to be warmer. We did aqua a few times with Isobel who was good, other activities are available too. There is a larger warmer pool over the back which i used daily. We had an issue on arrival with the safe and with the sink plug and blockage which were both sorted quickly. Lots of sunbeds and towels available for use. Nice and clean. Most staff friendly. We have booked again.

Fantastic place and great value. Clean, well laid out bungalows with great facilities on site. Friendly staff, lovely food in Taste poolside bar and fun entertainment at night. 3 pools and loads of sunbeds. Location is close to lighthouse, dunes and many stylish shops. Big Mercadona supermarket within easy walking distance and nice little on site shop with fresh bread daily. Kitchen was simple but had everything we needed, beds comfortable and cleaner was fantastic. Literally no complaints and would go back. Local buses to all over the island were only a short distance away near the lighthouse.

Solo traveller 7 night stay. Accommodating immaculate on arrival, bottle of fizz (left as didn't drink), and coffee pods x4 in room plus 1 litre h2o. Nice touch. Room serviced 2 x in 7 nights. S'ok, I'm tidy but would have liked towels. Fridge didn't work, but s'ok as went 1/2 board. Complex and pools immaculate. Lots of walking to and frow not best if you have motability issues. It's a good 20-minute walk to anything local, including the buses. Beaches were lovely, as is the sea front to the lighthouse and beyond. This is not the best place for anyone who may have ANY joint problems. No hand rail into the pools to help. Breakfast was fair and enough choice to ensure everyone catered for apart from vegans it looked like but I feel the staff would have accomodated. Evening meal ok but quite limited and repetitive selections. Selections not refreshed enough or warm enough and no microwave to heat anything up. Water had to be bought 2.5 euros for 500mls. Onsite shop 1 euro 1000mls! Staff were professional and helpful, small onsite bar reasonable and food was good there. Overall had a good time weather was fab, no hassle or overbearing behaviour but it's definitely a 3 star in my book. Wouldn't go back basically due to the constant having to walk 20 minutes plus for anything.

Another lovely relaxing holiday at this perfect hotel. Friendly staff and great location. Rooms improve every year. Nice buffet restaurant and great choice of alfresco restaurants within a ten minute walk. Some daytime and evening entertainment for those who want it.

Stayed here in April on RO basis, we were lucky enough to get a room over looking the pool with beds on the balcony and pool towels which was great.. Rooms are lovely, clean and modern with plenty of storage, housekeeping is 5 days a week, Wednesdays and Sundays no cleaning. Staff were very friendly and whole grounds of the hotel are clean and well looked after. It is about 15-20 minute walk to the main bars and restaurants. We couldn't fault this hotel at all and would defiantly return, if I had to leave a negative review it would only be for the size of the bath towels which are on the small side. Overall a very relaxing stay, thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you Cay beach..
