I am travelling alone. Given I am watching a couple of night sessions at Australian Open I need somewhere which is within walking distance from the Melbourne Park. Overall you get what you paid for. One bed in a dorm of 8 ppl costs just under HKD $300 is a good price. The atmosphere in the hostel is good and those youth are enjoying themselves just like my boarding school days, just that now I am approaching half century. The shared washroom, bathroom and kitchen are good. The bed is with limited space with a cupboard where you can lock with your own lock which I am glad I took one. There was a bit of smell in the cabin I stayed and hence I believe that is why all four fans as well as the windows are always on. Staff is helpful and well mannered. I would say it is very reasonable given the price.

The place is okay. I had a good stay in my room. They’re kinda strict with check out time tho. Few minutes before check out time at 11, the staff went to the room to remind me I have to check out and I asked her for a few minutes because I had to shower. When I went back to the room, my key card doesn’t work anymore. They already locked it for me because it’s check out time. I won’t go back to this hostel. Tho I had good breakfast at Howm.

A muggy and windy night so the room didn't cope too well with the conditions. Easily one of the better run hostels I have been in and the staff and guests were very friendly and kind.

This place is one of a kind, it has such a homey vibe. I met some of the most amazing travelers there! Thanks for the wonderful stay, I truly enjoyed it

Nice dorm beds with privacy curtains and lockers. Decent and ample showers. Bit noisy from Flinders St and room was pretty hot. Good central location though.

Amazing location right in front of Flinders Street station. Recommended!

Lovely hotel. We had a private room w ensuite on the third floor. Would stay again after the construction site next door has finished. The noise was too much and they keep don’t stop at night. Kept me up every night.

The location is excellent and the staff are really helpful and nice. I forgot my key room on my bed when going to the washroom. I went down to the reception and he gave me a new key right away. Will be back again for sure.

Selina Central has a great location and in the central area. So close to the Australian Open Courts and walkable to many areas, in fact it’s right in front of the station. All the staff were absolutely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The beds has curtain and I’d say the cleanliness is great. Maybe just the ventilation in the room could be better, perhaps more fans or air condition.

The location is good, near the flinder street station and most of the tourist attractions! They also allows customer to store their luggage and the staff is super friendly too~
