Doubletree by Hilton Flinders Street is conveniently located in the CBD, opposite Flinders Street train station. The hotel is within walking distance to the free tram network and lots of eateries. The room is pretty standard, with amenities needed for business travel. Breakfast food was just ok, service was good.

Perfect location Good service at the front desk, but they seem short of staff at around 5pm on a Friday. Room is pretty standard with acceptable hygiene level. Overall, good value for money.

Excellent location, service and facilities. Cons, I didn’t get told I can get drinking water from reception. Communication needs improvement.

Hotel is convenient in location to stations and trams, plus walking distance to South Wharf, breakfast is pretty basic but staffs are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to those to spend short trip in CBD Mel.

Got a terrible experience. After we check in we went out. When back found bags that do not belong to us in our room. Better still we have "Do not disturb" signage on the door. Wth. How can the staff enter the room wo our permission. After then they say that is a trainee. What is all these!

Nice location if you looking for the place close to public transport, as it’s located in cbd, but would not suitable for person who loves peaceful ambiance, as also there was a construction on going next to the hotel when i was staying that time, would be noisy in the working hours.

Nice staff. The location is great, but the room’s window was facing a wall 20 cm away… Make sure you ask for a view so you face the street maybe…

Have stayed at both double tree hotel in Jakarta and now Melbourne. There is a stark difference, while the one in Jakarta one, both the hotel design and amenities are starkly much better than on in Melbourne. Just wasn’t sure why there is such a big difference for the same brand of the same rating hotel. The one in Melbourne feels much lower, like a 3-stars hotel design

Room was spacious and service was friendly and quick at the front desk. Utilities are dated and basic, suitable for a simple nights stay without the luxuries.

Nice hotel, comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. Cookies on arrival! Excellent location with lots of reading places and shops on the doorstep. Walking distance of Federation Square. Team stop right outside. Opposite Flinders Street station.

A nice hotel in the center of Melbourne. Convenient location but I am not sure it’s a safe area.
