Artist Vic Payne fell in love with the old town and its historic buildings and opened one of his high end art studios that is an experience in itself. His famous life size bronze sculptures are a must see. All of this is located just a couple of minutes walk from your 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin where you will instantly feel at home!Of course a plus is that Cody Wyoming, the gateway to Yellowstone National Park, is just 30 miles south. The drive to Cody is a wonderful experience where bear, prong horn antelope, mule deer, white tailed deer, and elk are often visible. In addition, you will not be disappointed to excursions north, east or west either! Be sure to allow yourself enough days to check out the Big Horns, Ten Sleep, The Grey Bull River, The Wind River, Jacks' Creek and Kirwin (a Ghost Town that is an amazing experience).
