Never booked through Trip.com for Golden Tulip hotel. They have no direct agreement with hotel. I had to wait till midnight to get the room as hotel said No Booking Made for us whereas I booked online and paid prior 6 months and rechecked with Trip to ensure the booking. It was terrible experience I had there. My kids were sick, sitting in the lobby for 3-4 hrs to solve the issue. The told to check with any nearest hotel to get alternate room but unfortunately nothing was available at that time. Luckily, a third party agent came and managed to get a room at the end.
Hotel lobby is good but room condition very poor. Floor carpet full of dust n marks. Pillow cover, quilt had the marks. Even we discovered bed bugs!!! Bathroom shower screen was too small, water came out and made wet all over the bathroom while taking shower. Water leaking from bathroom roof!! Crazy experience, spent over AUS $250 per night and service boys only come if you call and request to give something. Luckily, I managed them to provide some extra linen, towel etc
