B&B Hotel Mechelen

Good new,basic hotel good price ,clean ,tidy and ideal for a stopover,good breakfast and easy parking.Great staff ,very helpful.We were just passing through,arrived late .Co portable,clean ,no frills.Close to centre of old town Werecoomend this as a good travellets hotel

A modern hotel with everything you need for a short or long stay with a very relaxed feel. Friendly and very helpful staff. Quiet rooms, good soundproofing. All toiletries provided; shampoo/shower gel, hair conditioner, hand-wash liquid and body moisturiser; tissues and great housekeeping. Environmentally responsible and actively encourage guests to be the same. Good continental breakfast with more relaxed times at the weekend. Their ethos is admirable and I would use B&B Hotels again without hesitation. The Mechelen Hotel partners with a secure covered carpark beside it; the hotel staff were very accommodating if you are travelling with two motorcycles and can park in one space. Location is within easy walking distance to the centre of Mechelen (10 minutes), the train station and various bus stops. Highly recommend.

Location is just outside the city center but still the center is walkable. Parking next door and dogs are welcome. Behind the hotel near the canal good place to walk the dog. Good breakfast and coffee is free avaiable. Checkin went quick. Room was modern basic and clean. Beds were good. Good place if you want to be near the center but not in the center.

A pretty basic 3 star hotel, that's nicely located between the train station and the city centre. The rooms are compact, neat and clean. The personell is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable, so this is good value for money!

After some thought about whether it was worth writing this review in a public space, I decided to do so. I am a tour guide for a group and on April 4, early in the morning at 5:45 am, I had to leave the hotel with a group of 35 people. I ordered a lunch box in advance for the whole group. When I arrived at the reception early in the morning, I met a hotel employee. she asked how many people were in the group and went to the kitchen to prepare a lunch box. by this time breakfast was served and absolutely open to everyone. I was busy waiting for the bus and when I was convinced that it was in the parking lot I returned to the hotel. I was met by a hotel worker and she said with an angry face - Why do your people have breakfast and take food? Lunch boxes have been prepared for you and you do not have to eat a regular breakfast. The lunch box consisted of a small bun and two pieces of sausage. When I reasonably noted that we have breakfast included and there is nothing wrong with people eating a little more than you gave in the box, the answer simply amazed me. The hotel worker said the following - Your group behaves like stupid animals! This is simply impossible to believe, but I have witnesses who can confirm this statement. I think that this employee should answer for her absolutely unacceptable statement. Thank you

This hotel near the Station of Mechelen was a great discovery. The rooms are stylish, modern and spacious. I have a very sensitive back and could sleep very well. The breakfast buffet is well-assorted with goat cheese, abbey cheese and fresh bacon. The scrambled eggs and fruit salad are top notch. It is excellent value for the price.

Sobere kamers...goede matrassen...goed ontbijt met toch een ruime keuze...24/7 receptie...vriendelijk personeel...gemakkelijk dat je van parking direct naar hotel kunt gaan... kortom ideaal, zeker als uitvalsbasis bij festival

Buon albergo in comoda posizione tra il centro della città e la stazione, il che ci ha permesso di utilizzare Mechelen come base per visitare Anversa e Gent in treno. Il parcheggio a pagamento è fondamentale per chi arriva in auto. La nostra camera era piccola, così come il bagno, ma pulita e funzionale. In reception sempre disponibili bevande calde e qualche snack.
