Great location! Comfortable yet small space. Only consideration is if you prefer to go to bed before 10pm you will be serenaded by the bumping music of the establishment below you. Clean and well appointed. Odd that there wasn’t a door on the second bedroom of the family suite (which was the better bed).

Great location in the heart of town for walking to restaurants and wine tasting, and well placed for easy drives to the surrounding wineries. No staff in person but they are responsive and easily reached by phone. They have laundry facilities which came in handy since we were in the middle of a long trip. Rooms are not well laid out, with space that could be better utilized to povide a better feel. Quality control could be better. One of the two TVs (the big one in the living room area) was not working, and over a three day period this was not addressed. Fortunately we had a TV in the bedroom area and did not spend a lot of time in the room, but it was not checked beore check in and not corrected after. Our room was a way from the bar downstairs so it was quiet.

Made a change to our hotel travel plan to Oregon after arrival and were able to find Douglas on Third on line after seeing reviews and walking by while we were in McMinnville. Reservation and self checkin via coded entrance and room access was super easy. The second floor efficient flat was well organized with everything we needed …comfortable king bed, sitting area and kitchen and bath amenities. We appreciated the dedicated parking on site and ez on-line checkout. Be aware that stair access is required from entry to second floor.

The communication from the hotel was timely and welcoming. Clear instructions were provided with respect to how to gain entry to our room, how to contact staff for anything we might need as well as information regarding the general area. Our room was clean and comfortable. And pillows! Lots of pillows on the bed which we genuinely appreciated. The location was a huge bonus, allowing us to explore the main street shops and restaurants any time of day.

Douglas on third is not a HOTEL. Let’s be clear. It is a refurbished apartment complex that is setup to be used as an airbnb. There are effectively no amenities. No one at the hotel. No one checks you in. No one cleans your room. You have to ask for replenished towels (which I will say they were prompt to bring). But I want to stress this isn’t a hotel, and needs to be rebranded as something else. Our room, room Six, was right above a bar. And music played all day long….not relaxing for me. Also they have air fresheners dumped through out the complex. Some people maybe into this “ boutique” style. But it’s not for someone looking for a hotel experience. Better off at the Atticus or somewhere outside town like the Allison.

Great location. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants, breweries and wine tasting. Easy check in and out. Great coffee with a fully equipped kitchen for all your needs. Comfortable bed and furnishings. We were there the weekend when they closed the main street down for outside seating at the restaurants. It was busy but not over crowded.

The rooms are not cleaned daily, For the money spent, I expect fresh towels, the bed made, and dishes washed when on vacation. Restaurants and tasting rooms all within walking distance, but other hotels just as close - try one of them instead.

The bed was the best: firm but not too hard. The decor was quaint & fit the time period of the hundred year old building, yet with a modern comfort level. The lobby was amazing (updated in the last year) and so were all the amenities. What a great place to stay AND with free and safe on-site parking.

We felt that this quaint small hotel was very adorable. It has a convenient location in the heart of McMinnville, and it is both clean and pleasant. When we arrived, we needed a few things, and their response was rather kind all the way through! Highly recommended!
