Muluwa Lodge

Our time in Muluwa was wonderful. Hard to find more friendly staff. Our room was amazing, the team (all of them) absolutely fantastic. We were there for 3 nights and I wish we had more time. It is 15 min from the airport and 45 minutes from the closest Kruger gate.

The place was beautiful, clean and peaceful. The staff was friendly and welcoming, The receptionist lady ( just forgot her name), Nomfundo, Lebo and the chef were all great. I would definitely come back again❤️ the activities were also great!

We had a special welcome with a family of giraffes. Very Luxury tent was ok, a bit tired, bush view. Dinner was delicious, breakfast too. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice fire pitt. Just a one night stop over on our way to Sabi Sands.

A tranquil place with gorgeous views. A perfect getaway from the city to marvel at nature and wildlife. The food was gobsmackingly delicious and the staff is absolutely warm and friendly. You feel welcome and important. The tents were cosy and kept squeaky clean. An overall 10 10 10 across the board!

Spent 3 nights as part of a TripaDeal. The most amazing accomodation. Great location to get to Kruger NP. The staff were wonderful. The manager Tanya brilliant. Food sensational and the tents so comfortable. Who can say they wake up with a giraffe outside their windows?! Cannot find fault really.

We stayed on a TripADeal package and loved every minute of our time at the lodge. It was full on as soon as we arrived with afternoon safari trip into Kruger National Park (1hr jeep drive b4 entering the park). Our driver was terrific and we saw many animals. Our tented accommodation was wonderful with a super king bed!. The views were incredible from our room out across the hills. The weather was a bit cool and unfortunately we didn’t get to use the lovely pool, but we had split system and electric blanket so we felt nice and cosy when we retired at night. Only a few minor things I would recommend the lodge consider is to maybe have an induction/information booklet available for guests. I had to ask staff on a few occasions what time was dinner, breakfast and accidentally found out about a lovely walk (over 6 km’s) you could do from within the property. Security was very tight and there were many animals roaming on the property including giraffes and impalas. I read in another review breakfast didn’t have much variety. I found it adequate enough as we were out in the bush and I certainly wasn’t expecting a full blown buffet breakfast you would find in a city hotel. There was an a la carte menu and buffet for cereals, toast, fruit etc. the drinks and food prices compared to Australia were very cheap. The meals have been excellent including a bbq with traditional African food. The staff went to great lengths to create a lovely outdoor dining experience. Would highly recommend staying at Muluwa Lodge.
