Maison d'hôtes "Les Jardins de Mazamet"

Although in the centre of downtown Mazamet, the property is an oasis of peace and quiet and staying here was more like being house guests in Maria & Franck’s grand old private mansion than a stay in gite or B&B. The good: our online reservation was painless and communication in English were excellent. Google maps took us to the front gate and secure parking is right at the entry. Our suite – Mathilde – was, clean, quiet, bright, comfortable and spacious. The décor is a tastefully executed period ensemble with modern amenities. The ensuite bathroom is modern, commodious and exceptionally well appointed. Everythug expected was provided and it all worked as expected. The king bed was comfortable, the linens crisp and clean and we were each able to find a favourite pillow. We opted for the dinner package which was well-presented, tasty and very good value. Breakfast was an agreeable continental set taken in the mansion’s sun-drenched dining room. The included Wifi worked well on all our devices. The not so good: we couldn’t stay longer.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful B & B for four nights. The location is central but quiet with easy parking. The hosts, Marie and Franck are attentive and kind. Our room, the Black and White room, was spotless, very large, good air conditioning and comfortable. The breakfasts give a good start to the day and on request, Marie will prepare a delicious evening meal. There is a lot to visit in the area such as Albi, Carcassonne and Lautrec. We were very pleased that this was one of our stops on our visit to this area of France and we would definitely recommend this B & B. Barry and Charlotte

Nous avons passé un très agréable moment au Gîte, qui est trés bien agencé et bien équipé pour une petite famille qui désire découvrir le charme de cette belle region. La Piscine dans le parc reste un moment privilegié pour se ressourcer et apprécier le calme et la beauté d'un superbe platane vieux de 300 ans,,, avec une vue sur la montagne noire !! Effet de sérénité garantie.
