Sport & Spa Hotel Strass

Returned to the Strass and indeed to Mayrhofen for the first time in eight years. Glad to see that the hotel has maintained its high quality. The rooms have been renovated since I was last there and my single room was both beautiful to look at and comfortable. Every detail is thought of including a little box of tricks in the bathroom (shower cap, cotton buds and sewing kit) and even a tote bag to take down to the spa. The lady who took care of the rooms went above and beyond even to decorating the loo rolls. The restaurant staff were efficient and friendly and it is a compliment to the head waiter that the quality didn't drop on his days off. The food was off the scales. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and I availed myself of most of them. The five course dinner was plentiful and of a very high standard. The reception staff were courteous, friendly and as efficient as ever. I loo forward to returning. Hopefully sooner than eight years.

I have returned to this hotel many times over the last 30 years and i've never been disappointed. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I stayed in the updated Sport hotel and the new room had everything i could need. They were cleaned daily and were spotless. The pillow was a bit flat and had feathers but after speaking to the cleaner the first morning she very kindly and quickly replaced with an allergy free one and brought an extra one. As always the food was very good and there was plenty of choice and the service was spot on. I use the pool alot which has been modernised since i was last there and really is nice. I'm not one for Saunas but i do like the solebad ( saltpool) which you pay for but you get it to yourself. The location of the hotel is good, on the main street and next to the Penken lift which whisks you to the top of the mountain with in 10 mins. With 4 valleys leading off from Mayrhofen theres lots to do and easy access by bus. Once again an excellent holiday thanks again to the Roscher family and all the staff. Already booked for next year.

Once more we stayed in our favourite friendly hotel here in beautiful Mayrhofen .. The hotel provides an excellent base for walking holidays, breakfast is varied and plentiful.evening meals are chosen in the morning, plenty to choose from the four courses, I could not manage the soup course. The rooms in the Strass are traditional, with a shower over the bath and separate toilet. There are lovely fluffy pillows and duvets for a good nights sleep. The hotel is next to the main Penken lift so very central.Rooms on the front can be noisy at weekends. Looking forward to returning again next year, thanks to all the friendly staff. John.

This was a little 3 day break for myself and a buddy, The Hotel was absolutely fantastic..the service from the host Erich and staff was just the best. Massage, sauna and pools were wonderfully relaxing and situated in the centre of beautiful Innsbruck, it dosen't get any better

Excellent as always! This is why I return year after year! So many amenities in the hotel including the Wellness Centre and Spa, and the environment is so beautiful. Hiking, biking, hang gliding, so many activities on the doorstep, not to mention the breathtaking scenery! Magical!

This is the second time we have stay at the Hotel Strass And again we have had a fantastic stay. The hotel is well presented and the rooms are clean and tidy. Reception staff are always helpful and will always assist if needed. Food served in the Restaurant is first class, and they catered well for vegans and vegetarians ( which we have one of each in our family). The staff are all give Particular mention goes to Veljko who gave a brilliant table service throughout our stay. Also big thanks to Vania who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were catered for. Also had two excellent e-bike trips out with Stocky seeing the stunning surrounding scenery. Definitely a hotel to revisit and well done to all at the Strauss!!
