Neuhaus Zillertal Resort

Neuhause resort hotel is the best hotel for us in Mayrhofen. We have been coming to this hotel every year for the last 13 years. The hospitality, the cleanliness, the welcoming owners and stuff are amazing.the new spa area is amazingly serene quiet sparkle and inviting. The beautiful furniture is the top of architecture beautiful and comfortable.

Staff and hotel absolutely superb. First time family ski for us and this hotel is a real find, warm and welcoming, friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms and leisure areas, top notch food and excellent restaurant. We stayed April 2024. The Hotel is really quirky with an eclectic mix of old and modern that is totally charming. The main hotel has great architecture and a restaurant with a view to die for. We stayed half board and it was worth it, the menu was really lovely and the food delicious - made even better by brilliant staff who amde us most welcome. The pool and sauna areas were a real bonus - clean and warm and kept in very good order. We stayed in the Apartments across from the main hotel, these were decently equipped and kept spotless for us all week. Thanks so much to all the staff for making our stay so great.

Excellent stay, no complaints, all was good, Spa,pool, meals exceptional. Both myself and partner enjoyed the week immensely. Staff were very helpful and kind. I did have a ski injury, broken shoulder, but partner and staff were brilliant.

DO NOT BOOK AN INGHAMS SKI HOLIDAY OR STAY AT NEUHAUS HOTEL RESORT UNTIL THEY ADDRESS GUEST SAFETY AND OTHER FAILINGS. On 26 December 2024 my hotel room in Neuhaus Hotel Resort in Mayrhofen was entered by someone not authorised to do so. There was physical evidence in the form of multiple items being moved. The housekeeper confirmed that she did not move the items. As soon as I realised my room had been entered without consent, I made both my Inghams Ski rep, Gaby, and hotel reception know. In response, the Inghams Ski Rep decided not to seek further information from and support me. Instead she decided to leave my hotel without speaking to me and when I made my distress of her behaviour known via their whatsapp she further expressed her lack of concern and support by telling me that she could not come back to speak to me at my hotel until more than an hour and half later – apparently it was more important to her that attending the weekly quiz was more important than safeguarding the safety of her guests. The hotel reception staff called back the housekeeper and three of us went back up to my room. Fortunately, I had placed some of my valuables in the room safe and taken my other valuables with me, leaving nothing of value in my room. The reception member of staff initially put down water damage to a faulty shower head. This was subsequently proven to be untrue, merely a normal small amount of residue water falling, as no significant amounts of water fell both before and after. The hotel reception staff informed me that nothing could be done immediately to establish who had entered my room as the only person who could access the data, which they initially told me did not exist, was the hotel chef who had no time to do so. Over 24 hours later, I was told that the chef and group of reception staff had carefully spent two hours looking at the CCTV footage and found nothing. Strange as the time span I was out of my room exceeded 5 hours. I repeatedly asked the reception staff if the chef had carried out an IT Integrity Test before they viewed the data. They told me that he had not and when I repeatedly asked them to do so they repeatedly refused to do so. As it had become clear the chef and reception staff were negligent in addressing this issue, I repeatedly asked to speak face to face with one of the owners. The reception staff repeatedly refused to allow me to speak to one of the owners telling both me and the Inghams Ski Rep that the son had left the hotel and no owner could speak to me – a lie. On the 28 December, I found out that one of the owners, the father, was not only living in the hotel, but was a workaholic working from 6am to late at night every day. He was in the hotel during the time I wished to speak to him face to face. The Inghams Ski Rep failed to establish the truthfulness/reality of what she was being told by the reception staff and challenging them. It was left to me to find out. She failed to be assertive,

This is our second stay in this hotel and it’s still amazing as it was during our first time (part of our half- board ski holiday package). Hotel is very centre, just a 10-15 min walk from Penkenbahn station (there is a free shuttle bus just across the hotel if you don’t feel like walking with your ski shoes), train station just across the hotel when we went for our Innsbruck/ Munich tour, 2 min walk from the ski rental shop, and so much more. Room wise, we love their traditional Austrian room as we see its full character and history of the hotel but if you opt to stay in their sleek and elegant rooms, it is in their newly built building (Badehaus) where their new spa and sauna +pools are situated, hopefully we’ll try on our next ski holiday. Food wise, you always have your permanent table all through out your stay, from day 1 onwards, so if you don’t feel comfortable in your dining table, speak to the reception right away so they can change it (I recommend their Obstgarten for couples) :) buffet breakfast, free desserts in the afternoon, and fancy dining set up (ask for english menu) with all you can eat salad. This hotel has a lot to offer (cinema, bowling, spa and sauna+pool) all perfect for a family getaway. Lastly, their staff are the masterpiece of this review too many nice people to mention but we remember (Marco, Fotis, Alina, and Giorge/Giorgos) that always make our holiday extra special. Don’t forget the live band singer at night Willy! Surely and definitely coming back next ski holiday. Only at Neuhaus where we felt it’s home away from home. :)

One of the best - if not THE BEST - hotel in Mayrhofen. Close to the trainstation and bus to Hintertux (40 min drive with the free skibus), walking distance to PenkenBahn, generally in the citycentre. Great food, spa and sauna + pool. Highly recommended in any weather conditions. Enjoy your stay!
