Bon hôtel......mais trop près de l aéroport et le passage des avions à son dessus

Direkt an der Uferpromenade. Es gab ein Upgrade aufs Zimmer Tolle Pflanzen und Anlage Frühstücksbuffet Klasse, aber Cafe nicht genießbar. Liegen am Pool zu eng gestuhlt....fast Platzangst bekommen. Sonst aber alle sehr freundlich

Thanks to all the team members who really go above and beyond to create memorable experiences. As repeat guests we appreciated the many ways in which we were acknowledged, from early check in, welcoming gifts etc.. However we were disappointed to see many of the public areas including the corridors to the bedrooms in need of an upgrade.. the carpets were simply worn to a thread and the net curtains torn .. not really the 5* look Our room 401 was spacious and the balcony view was amazing.However we did mention twice during our 10 day stay that one of the single beds which were put together to form a king bed was broken, it remained that way for the whole time.. On day 2 we went pay our bar tab.. already there was charges posted in error, this continued through out our stay, with a total of over €110 been charged in errors, and on 2 occasions charges which should have been posted were not.. This happened not only in the restaurant but also the pool side restaurant. The buffet breakfast food was really good and the gluten free area was well served and we appreciated that, not so with them themed evening buffet .. No clearly defined area which caused confusion as to the possibility of cross contamination.. We did ask the restaurant team however their knowledge was limited and finally we decided to mention it to the restaurant manager he was not able to confirm if the food on offer was safe for a gluten intolerant person.. Just a little bit of attention to detail on this aspect of the dining experience would have made a great difference. We’re frequent traveler’s and know how to navigate around the food issues but would expect more from a 5* Hotel. A symphony of errors, declining standards and overall food and beverage experience would lend us to rethink of booking again despite being loyal customers.. It could be so much better with small improvements..

We have just arrived back home after 5 relaxing days at this hotel. We had a lovely time, the hotel was just perfect! All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was lovely and we wished we could have stayed longer! We really loved the location of the hotel, it was a quick walk to the main town where many restaurants and bars were located. Also, was right on the beach so we spent a lot of time there! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

I arrived at the hotel on the 13 September to a warm greeting from David with a drink of pressecco and a lovely lady Emilise she was so professional when she looked at my passport she said happy birthday for yesterday I explained we wanted to arrive for my birthday but couldn’t get a flight We went straight down for an evening meal while David took the cases to our room . When we arrived in our room there was a happy birthday message a bottle of champagne and chocolates was so nice . The room was spotless stayed in 124 this time last time we stayed in 119 although 119 was a bigger balcony the standard of our room was excellent like our stayed two years ago . Every day our room was cleaned to a very high standard the towels changed I didn’t see what they called the young lad that cleaned the room but he was so polite and did a fantastic job he even did fancy swans with the towels always polite and spoke in the corridor has we passed . We visited the bar every night all the staff was so polite and very efficient the cocktails was delicious the entertainment was excellent too Especially Tuesday Thursday and Friday The breakfast was all delicious loved the fresh omelette’s the cakes real bacon and sausage fresh fruit etc etc All the staff fantastic in the breakfast area and polite . The pool area always spotless and plenty of sun-beds We look forward to coming back soon Thanks again for everything Also if you could thank all your amazing staff

We have just come back from Sheraton Fuerteventura. We were staying one week. We arrived approximately 9.30 pm on 8th September 25. We were checked in by a female who actually treated both my daughter and myself with disrespect. She did not make us feel welcome, constantly getting us to sign forms and sign our name electronically. We both felt like persons who were going to break all around us and pay for nothing, it's not a nice feeling, especially, to a psychologist. She insisted on us putting £300 credit on our card. David who took us to our room, which was out in the sticks, was so lovely and helpful. I suggest he be a receptionist, his manner lends itself to helping people and putting them at ease. On another occassion, we asked another receptionist, I think her name was Maysous, about Catholic Mass on Sunday, she made faces in our presence, disrespectfully, saying 'I dont live here and walked away. We were advised to visit Barcelo Hotel by another guest. We met a friendly young man who knew his job and actually gave us a map with Barcelo Hotel, by the harbor clearly mapped out and did so with a smile. How different to our experience in Sheraton .? The room was remote, we did not feel safe ,it was old Room 105 . It was large with 1 double bed and one single. It had old garden metal chairs. in the room, We were frightened at night as the strong winds were whistling from the windows and doors. The view from the room was supposed to be double seaview as described by Love Holidays , its a joke, attaching a photo which describes the view perfectly. We were an end room with nothing but waste land and a peep of sea through trees. Dont be fooled this 5 star hotel is 2 star at the most. The bathroom was nice,separate toilet,bathroom and shower. Cleaning lady was excellant and did not disturb us. She is a credit to the hotel , thanks to her. The breakfast was poor I only saw 2 cerals I could eat. Milk was not nice. the fry was not appetizing.so did not bother. As other reviewers stated, there were flies on some food, It should be covered. We did not have dinner as we had read reviews not recommended. The outdoor pools were nice aqua aerobics was brilliant. We did not visit Spa as it cost £30 per person. The drinks at the bar in Hotel, cost £6 for each beer. Down from the hotel is a beautiful shopping center Atlantico with an Indian, Mexican restaurants,,lovely bar where beer costs £2.80. Be sure to visit. I hope people take stock of my opinions and advice as it's expensive holiday. Its the Barcelo Hotel next time for us.
