I have never stayed in a place this bad in a long time. I would not recommend anyone to book this place. The amount of money is not worth the hassle and bad staff treatment. Even before arriving, we had to deal with the rude booking staff (Wendy) who was forcefully trying to upsell us on so many expensive, unnecessary things that were available much cheaper with other suppliers. We asked for a late checkout and were told to pay an exorbitant extra amount even though we’d already paid for a full 2 week stay at the apartment. When I complained about the cost of the late checkout, I was told that I would need to take their overpriced shuttle service to get this for free. Suffice to say I did not take this. These staff were also rude to some Mauritian friends we had asked to check out the accommodation for us. I had already told the staff (Wendy and co) that we’d check in after 5 pm because of our flight and getting to the apartment. Yet there was still no one here to give us the keys when we arrived. After a few phone calls and waiting an extra 30 minutes, we got the keys from what can be described as the only person in this place with manners. He helped with our luggage and refused a tip. We’re now only at this place for a day, and it’s been is not good. First, I had to call again this morning to find out why the daily cleaning service hadn’t arrived. Then after finding people walking around, we arranged for the daily cleaning service to commence. The cleaning service is so bad you can't even call it that. The floors and even the bed-making are not even worth it. We asked for the 2 single beds to be turned into one bed. The staff pushed the 2 beds together instead of making it into a proper bed. When we explained what they needed to do, they said they couldn’t do it. They didn’t have an extra duvet or blanket and the know-how on how to turn 2 single beds into one bed. After having to fight and argue with the concierge and then complain to an unsympathetic and rude person (Tirousha) at the head office booking staff, they finally agreed to turn the single beds into a proper double bed. It turns out it was possible, but they just didn’t want to do it. Going the extra mile and helping is not on these guys agenda. This place is 1 star at best with the service levels. The concierge arrived at the apartment with the cleaning staff and could see that we were working and in an online meeting, and he still insisted on speaking to us. I was also expected to write down my credit card details on a piece of paper or give them 200 euros cash for a deposit. When I declined both options, I was told that they would have security remove us from the building without refunding the accommodation. If I could get a refund, I would run from this place. After speaking to Tirousha yet again about this, I said that I was fine with pre-authorisation for a deposit but not by writing my card details down.
