Nice location and good activities Service and room are so so They do some renovation so we have people sit in front of our door all the time. Shouldn’t sell the room that not completely done

This is the second time we've stayed at Shandrani and we don't normally go back to the same place. There are likely to be further visits in the future as well. What do we love about Shandrani, in short everything, for more detail read on! We are a family with 2 sons who were aged 15 and 17 when we visited, and the hotel was fabulous for them. I will never forget their faces the on our first stay. They looked through the lobby to the pool and sea and their mouths dropped open in shock. It is a moment that will always stay with me. The boys could safely explore, play tennis and table tennis, participate in water sports and drink copious amounts of chocolate milkshakes (trust me the blender broke whilst we were there and I swear it couldn't cope with the rate they draw them). The water sports are included and there are so many things to try. I snorkelled for several hours every day. I saw lion fish, flute fish, eels, incredibly colourful fish, fantastic shells and corals and it was the most relaxed I have felt in a long time. On our last day I snorkelled for around 10 minutes with a turtle which no one else had spotted. I was like a child at Christmas, what an incredible experience. We also used the pedaloes, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, my husband and children learnt to windsurf, glass bottom boat, snorkelling trip etc. The food is absolutely wonderful. The buffet has plenty of choice, there was only one night when there was little left, however we were much later that night. The a la carte restaurants were wonderful, we tried every one of them. We had dinner at the Italian on my birthday and the staff came out with a lovely chocolate birthday cake. I tended to be on the beach between 9 and 10 am and was one of the first there so no fight for sunbeds. We are generally more of a pool family, but the surroundings and beach at Shandrani are so beautiful that we were converted. I loved being on the beach or the balcony of our room and watching the bats, particularly around 4pm onwards. The new beach hut for drinks and towels is a nice touch, it wasn't there last time we were. The staff are incredible, particularly Ashven who checked in with us regularly whilst we lazed around the pool, he never seemed to stop smiling. I loved him surprising me with drinks when I asked him to choose for me. I was beyond shocked when he remembered all of us from our last visit 2 years previous to this one. He is an absolute credit to Shadrani. Our room was lovely with a fabulous view (like all Shadrani rooms). The area is safe and I was able to run on the local roads without feeling scared. The gym is small but has everything you need. If you want to play tennis take some tennis balls with you so you don't have to pay. I'd also take beach shoes to swim in. On the negative side, no holiday will ever live up to Shandrani for us and we can't wait to go back but given the eldest is 18 very soon it will be a lot more expensive for us!

We had an amazing time at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, thanks to Sharfa and Yovina, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Jerome deserves a shoutout for keeping our room impeccably clean throughout our visit. The buffet was decent, but the Italian restaurant was a standout—absolutely delicious! A special thanks to Rajiv and Stephane, who provided exceptional service and made our dining experiences memorable. We also enjoyed lunch at Sirius, where the food was equally delightful. The staff across the board were incredibly nice and attentive. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the mocktails; enhancing their presentation and flavor would elevate the experience. Unlike the drinks at Victoria were incredible! Additionally, it would be great to see the hotel switch to glass or metal straws instead of paper ones, especially during main courses. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning!

One of the best hotels I’ve been to. The choice of food was to died for The room was clean and spacious, the bed was so comfy with the big pillows Activies offered are so many and you won’t get bored The pools are amazing Overall I have loved my stay and nothing to complain about.

Best hotel I ever visited in Mauritius.The check in was easy and we got a beautiful room with sea view. The service was excellent and all the staff very friendly. You get snacks like chips and crispy chicken all day and there is a long list of drinks included in the all inclusive package. You get a lot of water activities and even the motorised one are available with no supplement. The food and dessert are delicious as well.

What an awesome experience and stay at Sandrani. The staff are so friendly and efficient. During our week's stay we explored the different cuisines at the various restaurants, every moment enjoyed to the fullest. Our room boy Seevaum was super efficient and made our room stay pleasant. Every day our needs were met and he made sure we were well looked after. Thank you Seevaum, you are an asset to this resort. Keep it up! Fabulous stay at Shandrani. Amazing beaches, incredible food and wide choice of restaurants, and the most wonderful friendly staff. Huge choices of beaches as the resort is on a peninsular, so lagoon quiet beaches, little tiny secluded beaches and larger wild beach. Great choice of watersports included. Accommodation is very clean and well maintained. Great location right near the airport, so quick transfer and your holiday starts right away! The planes are not obtrusive (only see them take off and not land, no over night flights taking off and not that frequent during the day, and noise is for literally 1 min per flight). Can't wait to stay at Shandrani again!

Hotel needs a refurbishment as looking tired! Entertainment staff unprofessional and just interested in single women!! We had our vowel renewal and all was good apart from transportation with family from one bar to another could of sent big buggy and been more available so my family didn’t have to walk back and forth when our parents struggled walking! Best staff that are a true asset to Shandrani: Laura wedding planner, sanjive, Thierry, Sabletree absolutely brilliant service from these amazing people!

Faboulous Hotel, great location with both access to the lagoon and the ocean. Superb beaches with great water sports especially in the protected lagoon. Excellent service throughout and really nice variety of food type s at the restaurants..Really nice bar area close to the pool and beaches for a wonderful relaxing stay. 10 minutes from the international airport..
