Radisson Blu la Poste Lafayette Resort and Spa

All-inclusive hotel with lovely views of the ocean, on the secluded East Coast. The hotel has a buffet restaurant serving decent food for breakfast and dinner - along with a breakfast chef and varied evening themes, like Indian night, which had tasty, freshly prepared dishes. The rooms have Nespresso machines, which is nice (capsules aren’t included but can be purchased at 3$/2.90 € a piece (= 140 MUR). There is a large pool with lounge chairs and there are more lounge chairs by the sea (most of which, however, seemed occupied from morning till night during high season, when I visited). There aren’t that many activities to do in this part of the island, but you can do a bit of snorkling and kayaking. The hotel also has an entertainment program with games and some other group activities. There is also a gym and a basic spa. Most sea front rooms do not have balconies, but can open the glass partition (a type French balcony). Between 6PM and 11 PM, the entertainment system and DJs dominate the resort (a loud pounding from the bass can be “enjoyed” in the sea front rooms in the main building), but if you’re an all-inclusive guest there to party, and with (some of the) drinks included, this hotel might be just your scene. Others might find the place touristy, noisy, and overpriced.

Loved snorkelling in the lagoon, lots of fish, corals and even some turtles if you’re lucky! Other than the lagoon, I spent most of my time in the pool - it was pretty big and there were even aqua gym classes! The rooms were clean with amenities such as hairdryers and all essential toiletries. The hotel has a great view and feels like a premium resort experience. The food and drinks were delicious! Lots of activities to keep busy and entertained throughout the stay. Most importantly, the staff were all very nice and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

We stayed at Radisson Blu, Lafayette for six nights during our honeymoon, and it was a truly romantic and memorable experience. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for a couples’ getaway. One of the highlights is the private beach, where we enjoyed swimming, snorkeling, and even a bit of lagoon fishing. The resort also has a well-maintained swimming pool, adding to the overall relaxing vibe. Our room was spacious, well-lit, and impeccably maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The food at the resort was good, with breakfast being a standout—it was always fresh and satisfying. As newlyweds, we were delighted by the thoughtful arrangements of sparkling wine and a candlelight dinner, which made our experience even more special. However, there are a few areas for improvement. While breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, the menu lacked variety, and the food quality was inconsistent at times. The resort’s remote location adds to its charm but also means that commuting anywhere requires a taxi, which can be a bit inconvenient. Additionally, some bathroom amenities were not replenished, and we had to request replacements. Overall, Radisson Blu, Lafayette is a great choice for a peaceful, romantic getaway with beautiful surroundings and thoughtful experiences for couples. With some improvements in food variety and service consistency, it could be truly exceptional.

The service at the spa of the hotel was top notch. Ameidee and Malini had magic in their hands, absolutely professional and they ensured that we feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the session. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to relax and cut off from their routine.

We stayed at Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette on our honeymoon January 2025, it was the perfect location being a adult only hotel, a private beach and a stunning pool area All staff are super attentive and polite, nothing is too much bother, and everywhere is very clean A special mention to Hans and Adish who made the stay perfect for us with activities like bike riding, snorkelling, various walks and aqua gym! There was never a dull moment or being bored with these 2 around Cannot recommend enough Hans and Adish’s activities, they are amazing guys!
