Villa Alizee

Villa Alizee is a lovely little place. The staff and owners are eager to assist you with everything and are truly polite and friendly. The housekeeper and chef managed everything wonderfully, and Jennifer from the staff made our two-night stay especially pleasant. There isn't much to do nearby, but if you have a car, you can easily reach Port Louis or the northern beaches. The staff is also happy to help with taxi bookings, etc., if you're traveling without a car. Many thanks for everything to the Villa Alizee team!

When you arrive, you must ring the doorbell. But no one is answering because no one is there. When you call the owner he will tell ypu that he is not at home and you need to wait. They are proposing you to change currency for a very cheap price and also doesn't want to make you get in contact with your driver which I booked upon arrival. They even called the driver to ask him so many questions. They proposed me to take a taxi with them which was expensive. I prefer to rent a car but there is no parking space for the car. You need to park elsewhere. I'm not coming back here, they don't know how to talk to people. I really don't recommend this place at all.

The parking area had dog faeces everywhere. The parking area stank of poo and pee. their dogs are locked in a small cage. The dinner that is offered(no menu no prices) but RS 1000 average, for a average meal. They take advantage of people who order drinks. eg, i ordered 4 x double whiskey. They charged me for 12 shots. Apparently they saw i was enoying the drinks, so would serve a double double, without informing me. they did the same with the rums i ordered, at the end of the stay(not during) you get slapped with a ridiculous bill. We will never be using Villa Alizee again. If you shower after 9am, there is no hot water. I bumped into another group that had stayed there for a night and drank at the bar. They received also received a over inflated drinks bill.
