Lo Stemma Luxury Boutique Hotel

First of all- this hotel is nice- BUT while traveling with a friend and her young daughter we were subjected to such rude and threatening behavior by the manager that I cannot recommend it to anyone. Because we couldn't find the confirmation number we called the hotel that afternoon and they confirmed our room. When we arrived late afternoon we gave the name and our passports to the desk clerk and were signed in and led to our room. An hour later, after we had all showered and we in varius states of undress, the clerk comes up and tells us the room was meant for someone else . He admitted he had made a mistake. In the next half hour they became increasingly insistent that we leave right away while we insisted it was not our fault and that they needed to find us a room and pay for it. The manager of the hotel called us and was screaming at me to "leave my hotel in ten minutes or I'll call the police." He also yelled at and threatened my friends daughter with police involvement. For three women alone in a foreign country this was more than a little alarming. This situation could have been handled so much better- we were clearly not drifters off the street looking to steal a room for the night! Our inability to find the details was our fault, but they gave us the room after being told the name on the reservation, and, even though he did find us a lesser room somewhere else, we were forced to pay. Very poor customer service from a quality hotel.

Fantastic location to which you can arrive by car, drop off luggage and then park elsewhere. All areas of the hotel, communal areas as well as rooms were immaculate, very clean and modern. Breakfast on the terrace with view of Matera was wonderful. Would definitely return to this hotel and stay again if ever in the area.

Brand new, greatly decorated small boutique hotel, right in the Sassi area. Bed, shower, breakfast. Everything was top. Public parking is 150 meters - really a stone throw. But…Check out time is 10 am. Yes. 10 am. We were on a vacation trip. 9:30 was our average breakfast time, so it really messed up our morning.

Super petit hôtel de 7 chambres dans un grand palais en centre ville de Matera . Facile d'accès même en voiture mais néanmoins un emplacement idéal pour profiter de la richesse de la totalité de Matera. L'équipe de réception explique parfaitement comment bien découvrir Matera en deux ou trois jours, c'est un site exceptionnel qui mérite au minimum 48h de visite. Les chambres sont grandes et très bien équipées , le petit déjeuner proposé est gentiment servi et bien suffisant.

Tem excelente localização, se tive de carro você chega de carro até o hotel, pelo meio dos pedestres mas chega para descarregar as malas. Não tem manobrista mas tem um estocionamento publico, pago, muito perto do hotel, 3 minutos de caminhada. O hotel é pequeno, acho que tem 10 apartamentos. A recepcionista que nos atendeu extremamente educada, atenciosa, nos deu todas informações de Matera logo na nossa chegada, Tem elavador para os quartos que são amplos, conforttaveis, banheio ampla, quartos bem decorados, cama confortavel, roupa de cama e banho excelentes O café da manhã é que é upouco simples em uma sala pequena, mas foi suficiente, Tem uma varanda e uma sala que dão para a cidade que à noite é muito bonita. Super indico esse hotel

Ottimo servizio, ubicato proprio nel centro, a due passi da tutte le attrazioni. Un'oasi di lusso e tranquillità. Gli addetti alla reception molto disponibili, sono stati a disposizione per qualsiasi esigenza, camere pulitissime, curate nei dettagli. Una bellissima vista dal terrazzo. La colazione variata, tra dolce e salato. Prodotti genuini. Complimenti.
